MEMORIAL DAY
May we all have a safe and relaxing Memorial Day Weekend! Mass on Memorial Day will be celebrated at
9:00 a.m. followed by blessings of Holy Rosary Cemetery and St. Joseph’s and St. John’s Cemeteries. You
are invited to join our area veterans in cemetery ceremonies at the approximate times listed in our local
newspapers.
As we gather to honor those who served in the armed forces of our country in wars and times of peace and now rest, in
our prayers, may we thank them for their service and offer prayers for peace in the world. May we, too, remember all of
our beloved dead in our visits to cemeteries pausing to remember that we are on our own journey back to God. May the
promise of Christ in His Resurrection from the dead increase our own faith, hope and love. If we are faithful to Christ in
this life, we will live with Him forever!
WITH PARISH SYMPATHY
Our prayers are requested for John Grudzinski
whose Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on
Saturday, May 25th. May the angels lead him into
paradise, and may Christ grant His comfort and
consolation to John’s family and friends. We offer
our parish sympathy to them in their loss.
