Doug Gober began his funeral service
career thirty-six years ago as a casket
representative.
in 1995, he joined The Doody Group,
as Executive Vice President working
in the UK, where he ran European
Operations.
Doug was a pioneer in developing the
York Merchandising Systems, now
being offered in 6,000 funeral homes
in North America.
in 2011, joined Carriage as Director of
Development and Marketing,where
he formed and implemented training
programs to improve the service
and merchandise offerings of the
Company.
in 2012, Doug joined Wilmington, NC
based Live Oak Bank, helping Loan
officers connect with those in death
care management.
In 2014, he formed Gober Stategic
Capital to broaden his counsel and
services to in the death care business.
Dyanne Miller Matzkevich has been
a cemeterian for the past 11+ years
at Pine Forest and Gethsemane
Memorial Gardens. She is a graduate
of ICCFA University, a certified
celebrant, and has served as President
of the NC Cemetery Association. She
has served on the Board of Directors
for the Southern Cemetery, Cremation
and Funeral Association and currently
serves on the Green Burial Council
Board of Directors.

Dyanne conceived and developed
the Garden of Renewal at Pine Forest
Memorial Gardens—the state’s only
Green Burial Certified Natural Burial
Ground. This has been recorded in the

shown around the world and across
the United States.
Dyanne resides in Wake Forest with
her husband, Bill. She has three grown
sons, Brett, Brad and Billy.
