1st Day of Term 2
Many thanks go to Juana for her leadership of our Multicultural Evening. We were fortunate
to have a year 10 jazz band playing for us, from Marryatville HS and both teachers and
students joined parents in traditional dances. A variety of delicious foods complemented the
entertainment and it was wonderful to see so many families enjoying the night.

External School Review Process
As part of our continuous school improvement we will be involved in an external school
review with a review panel in week 8 next term. The purpose of external school reviews is to
support schools to raise achievement, sustain high performance and provide quality assurance
to build public confidence in government schools. All government schools will be externally
reviewed every four years.
Telephone:
8362 4666
Fax:
8362 0102
Email:[email protected]
Web: www.norwoodps.sa.edu.au
The focus of the review is to evaluate school performance. The review panel consists of a
review officer and a trained review principal. The review will occur on 15th and 16th June 2015.
We will find out the aspects of the school’s performance that have been verified through the
review processes as well as the improvements that we need to make in the future.
Proud Sponsors of
Mulberry Hall
During the external school review, some students, parents, governing council members and
staff will be asked to provide information to the review panel in a number of ways. These
include:
»» individual interviews
»» group discussions (with students or staff or parents)
»» meetings (usually governing council, staff meeting)
»» observations of student learning.
We appreciate your support and time in helping us with this external school review process.
If you do not want your child to participate or would like any further information, please let us
know.

There are a myriad of reasons adults need to be
urgently clothed.
If you are doing a pre-winter clean
out, please forward your donations
to the front office, attention: Anna
Smith. Thanking you in advance.

A Message from the Traffic Monitors
There have been a few issues occurring while
traffic monitors have been on duty.
Traffic monitors would appreciate cooperation
in the following matters.
 Please do not walk through the red man light
or press the button then walk off.
 It is the responsibility of the monitors to safely
direct pedestrians across the crossing. The
traffic monitors are trained and are
responsible for pushing the buttons.
It would be appreciated if
everyone cooperated in this
matter.
Thank you.
