Description & Purpose By focusing on collaborations and partnerships between Out in Law member firms and their clients, this
session will explore the role global law firms can play in driving equality forward around the world.
Through hearing from attorneys and clients who have brought about social impact through their
collaboration, participants will gain a greater understanding of how cooperative efforts between law
firms and their clients advance LGBT inclusion and equality. The panel will also outline best practices for
working together toward corporate good, social impact, and business development, particularly in the
LGBT space.

Attorney General giving 10-minutes of remarks about their work. It will then pivot to a group discussion
focused on effective ways that public legal officials can take proactive steps towards furthering LGBT
equality. From refusing to defend unconstitutional bans against same sex marriage in court, to
establishing LGBT-inclusive corporate policy as a criterion for state government pension investments,
this panel will explore the multifaceted means that Attorneys General have at their disposal to foster
greater equality for the LGBT community.
