We are making posters and writing essays advocating the elimination of the "R" word and persuading others to use more inclusive, sensitive language when referring to those with differing abilities. Representatives from the Wendell Foster campus came to speak with the 6th graders about empowering young people to use respectful and inclusive language, and we are so happy to learn about and participate in this campaign!
