**All Horse Trial and Combined Test dressage tests will be ridden in a small (20x40m) arena. HT tests on sand, CT on sand or grass.
Nervous Novice, Grasshopper, Cricket, Introductory, Smurf, and Ground Poles may have their tests read.
Dressage Schooling Show Tests: Individual dressage tests available as a great schooling opportunity. Consider adding
a dressage test to your CT, or HT entry! Classes may be combined. All tests will be ridden on Friday afternoon.

HT: Ribbons to 8th, prizes to 3rd. CT: Ribbons to 8th, prizes to 1st. Dressage Tests: Ribbons to 5th
Current USEF & USPC Rules for Eventing will be followed, though some latitude will be made for the
unrecognized event. Ask organizer if you have specific questions.
Lead Riders:
Lead riders for cross-country are intended for the assistance of inexperienced riders (i.e. D1 and D2
level Pony Clubbers). Lead riders may or may not be available for all riders requesting them – we will
do our best to provide a fun and safe experience for our new event riders!
Refunds:
Before the closing date, less $15 (office fee). After closing date, less $25, and only upon receipt of
veterinarian or medical doctor’s note.
Pinneys:
Non-returned pinney fee: $25.
Starting Times:
Approximate start times available on-line Tuesday, June 23rd. Final start times on grounds Friday, June
26th at 12pm. Call (208) 877-1381. Check: paradisecreek.ponyclub.org
Directions:
From the west; Deary, Idaho is 30 miles east of Moscow, ID on Highway 8. Pony Club grounds 3 miles
east of Deary (on HWY 8) on the N side of the highway. Look for signs.
Nature of Terrain: Wooded, rolling hills.
Accommodations: Camping on grounds, no hook-ups. Hotels available in Moscow, ID. Camping fee of $10 per night per
camping unit (i.e. tent = 1 unit, or camper on truck = 1 unit) Contact organizer with questions.
Stabling:
10x10 railroad tie/metal poles, & 12x12 pole stalls (not covered) on grounds. Please bring stall guard
and screw eyes. Check in at office for stall assignments. Bedding not provided, and please only
shavings (no straw) if bringing your own.
Concessions:
Will be available on grounds.
Other:
An interstate certificate of veterinary inspection (Health Certificate) is required for travel between
Idaho, Oregon & Washington, however, as of April 6, 2015, horses traveling between these three states
are EXEMPT from having a current EIA (Coggins) test. Brand Inspections are HIGHLY
recommended as we have had brand inspectors come to our camps in the past, and fine participants who
did not have correct paperwork with them. Please bring your horse paperwork with you to camp,
but we are not requiring copies of them with your entry form.
** Non-Pony Club Members: Must complete the USPC release form before riding on the grounds.
All entry forms must be accompanied by a release of liability.
A parent or guardian must sign if the competitor is under 18 years of age.

We are seeking donations to refurbish the cross-country course at
Deary. The goal is $20,000, and as of February, we are already ¼
of the way there, with $5000. With new jumps at every level, we
are excited about the course improvements for the future, and plan
for new jumps as soon as this summer as well! Donations can be

Idaho Code Title 6 Chapter 18, Sections 1, 2.
• I agree to wear protective headgear when riding, with harness secured. Body protecting vests are required for cross county and recommended for
stadium jumping
• I understand and agree the organizers have the right to cancel the camp, to refuse any entry, and to prohibit or stop any activity deemed improper or unsafe.
