Carnival Wrap Up Newsletter 2015

Friday 27th March 2015
It's a wrap.... what a phenomenal effort from everyone involved. A little over $51,000 profit
was raised which has been earmarked for a motorised projector screen in the Gym as well
as money towards new Playground equipment to replace the old timber one. We cannot
thank all the Stall Coordinators enough, the actual Carnival day is the result of hours and
hours of preparation, from letters sent, to shopping, to packing, to sorting and everything
else in between. I have people always say to me, 'it's amazing how the Carnival just comes
together', the reality is, it's heaps and heaps of preparation. So from my children and I'm
sure on behalf of everyone else's, thank you for giving up your time to take on a Stall at this
year's Carnival. To the helpers on the day, the Event simply could not take place without
you and to all the local, the small, the large and the online businesses that donate products
and services, the school Community thanks you.

We would like to say a huge thankyou to all the Dads, Mums,
Nans and Pops and even past students that came and helped
us out on the BBQ stall on Sunday. It was a massive job and
we thankyou all for your contribution to the success of our
stall.
A special thankyou to the ladies in the kitchen that helped us
with preparation on Saturday, you were brilliant! Jo & Kyla

Thankyou to all the children that entered the poster competition, all of the entries were fabulous and brightened up the showbag stall!
Thankyou also to the ladies in the office for collecting the entries and all the
parents that printed, counted, set up and helped at the stall.

A huge thankyou to all the teachers that participated on the Dunking Machine, we're not
sure it's a positive that the kids had an absolute ball dunking you all.
A special mention to 'Nifty' Nev, our school's go to man. Nev is our absolute wingman for everything Carnival. Nev, we couldn't
do this without you.
