About Padmashree…
The Padmashree Charitable Trust was
formed in the year 1994 by the coming
together of professionals in different
fields to espouse a noble cause of
providing quality education. The first
Institution to be started by the Trust
was Padmashree Institute of
Physiotherapy in the year 1996, it was the first Physiotherapy Institute to be
started in Bangalore offering Bachelors in Physiotherapy course. Today
Padmashree group has four colleges under its umbrella.

Physiotherapy
Bachelors in Physiotherapy
Students will be trained in core skills like manual therapy, therapeutic
exercise and the application of electro physical modalities. By the end of
the course students will be able to identify and maximize movement
potential through motion.
Duration: 4 years (Inclusive of six months of internship)
Requirements:10+2 with Physics, Chemistry and Biology with a
minimum of 45% marks in aggregate and in individual subjects.
Masters in Physiotherapy
The Master of Physiotherapy course provides a fast track learning
experience for talented students who already hold a degree. The course
emphasizes evidence based practice and encourages students in
critical thinking.

Bsc Nursing
Bachelors in Science Nursing
A 4-year program offered at
Padmashree College of Nursing,
affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi University of
Health Sciences, that prepare the
student to practice across all health care
settings. The BSN program offers
students experience in major settings
where health care is delivered. The
Indian Nursing Council and Karnataka
Nursing Council recognize this course
offered at Padmashree.
General Nursing and Midwifery
The Padmashree Group of Institutions offers General Nursing
Programme so as to prepare general nurse who will function as
member of the health team beginning with competencies for first level
position in both hospital and community. The programme is geared to
the health needs of the country, the community and the individual; it will
serve as basis for advanced study and specialization in Nursing; it will
assist nurses in their personal and professional
development so that they may make their
maximum contribution to the society as
individual citizens and nurses.

Eligibility for admission: A candidate seeking
admission must have completed PUC/ higher secondary / XII or any
other equivalent examination with a minimum of 35% marks

Hospital Administration (MSc Programme)
This course run by Padmashree Group of Institutions aims at training
managers for health / hospital management and also aims at providing
specialized courses for hospital finance, human resource management
in health care, general management and quality management.
ELIGIBILITY: Students who have passed any degree course of Rajiv
Gandhi University of health sciences or equivalent degree with Arts,
Science, Law or Commerce of any other recognized university with a
minimum of 50% marks in aggregate are eligible for admission. In case
of SC/ST candidates, the minimum marks shall be 45%.
Duration of the course: The course shall be of 2 years of duration (6
terms -3 terms in each year)
Electives: Every candidate can either select
Hospital Management or Health Management as
one of the areas of specialization. This option is
selected within one month from the
commencement of the IV term in the second
year.
Medical Laboratory Technology
This course is being offered by Padmashree Institute of Medical
Laboratory Technology. Medical Laboratory Technology is an Allied
Health specialty concerned with the diagnosis, treatment and
prevention of disease through the use of clinical laboratory tests. As
vital members of the health care team, medical laboratory professionals
play a critical role in collecting the information needed to give the best
care to an ill or injured patient.

Laboratory Technology
Duration: 4 yearsRequirements: 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry &

Clinical laboratory testing plays a crucial role in
the detection, diagnosis, and treatment of
disease. Clinical laboratory technologists, also
referred to as clinical laboratory scientists or
medical technologists. Medical and clinical
laboratory technologists generally have a
bachelor's degree in medical technology. The course is affiliated to
Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences and is offered by
Padmashree Institute of Medical Laboratory Technology.

Bachelors in Science
The program has been designed to bridge the gap
between industry requirements and the growing
demand for skilled manpower in life science sector.
Hands on training in practical techniques, which are
being, used commonly like culture methods,
biochemical techniques etc. will be provided.
Students will examine a range of practical
applications and at the end of the course they should
carry out a project work in a selected sector of industry. The selection of
project work will reflect the areas of interest to the student and will
provide an excellent opportunity for employment in that sector.

Culture and Secondary Metabolite production which is of seven days
duration. Padmashree has a state of the art Plant Tissue culture
laboratory with the entire required infrastructure.
