Kindergarten Registration
Rockdale County Public Schools is now registering eligible students
for kindergarten for the 2015-2016 school year.
Who should register?
All students who will turn five years old by September 1, 2015.
When should I register my child?
Now! (Anytime between now and April 3, 2015)
Registration hours: 7:30—3:30 Monday through Friday
Where do I go to register?
Kindergarten registration takes place at the Student Registration at Support Services
Building located at 1143 West Avenue in Conyers.
What do I need to bring with me to registration?
 Child’s birth certificate, showing parent’s name
 Social Security Card
 Form 3231 (Certificate of Immunization)
 Form 3300 (Eye / Ear / Dental Certificate)
 Proof of Residence (choose one combination):
 Lease agreement along with electric, water or gas bill
 Lease agreement along with automobile registration
 Property tax receipt along with electric, water or gas bill
 Property tax receipt along with automobile registration
 Photo I.D. for parent
 Proof of custody or guardianship if person enrolling child is not the birth parent
At the time of registration, your child’s school will be assigned and you will be given the
school contact information. After registering your child in Rockdale County Schools, please
contact your elementary school to make an appointment for Kindergarten Round-Up. Students will have the opportunity to visit and tour their school and students will be assessed
for Kindergarten Readiness.
