Page Layout Imposition
Imposition is an important design consideration. It’s extremely helpful for the printer and the
successful printing of your design when you provide the correct label size and positioning.
Size/Position: width = 3.375 height =2.333 x-position = 0.9375 y-position = 1.000
Position (2nd half of sheet): x-position = 9.9375 y-position = 1.000
Step & Repeat Across: col = 2 h-offset = 3.750
Step & Repeat Down: row = 4 v-offset = 2.5557
Other Layout Considerations
Any design element you want to print to the edge of a label should be extended beyond the label
border. An 0.0625 (1/16) inch bleed on each side is suggested for this product.
Any element you want within a label (not at the edge) should be moved inside and away from the
label border. An 0.0625 (1/16) inch internal margin is suggested for this product.
These full-page template dimensions are the same as the printer’s final 12 x 18 sheet size.
However, don’t guess at what the printer may want from you. They may need to do their own
imposition. Always check with your printer first.
