Purpose of the Job:
Macmillan Education South Africa is seeking to appoint an experienced professional to the position of Sales
Support Coordinator. This role will be responsible for supporting the entire sales division by coordinating back
office operations, facilitating communication between provincial teams and conducting key administrative tasks.
Requirements:
• Grade 12 or equivalent qualification
• 3+ years experience in a sales support function
• Good attention to detail and an ability to implement systems and procedures
• Fully proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word
• Knowledge of supporting sales teams during large-scale sales campaigns
• Experience of liaising with government officials, key customers, and suppliers
• Good understanding of the South African education landscape
Key Responsibilities
• Preparing all travel and logistical arrangements for the sales team
• Processing all administrative documentation timeously and accurately
• Attending all sales meetings and keep records
• Assisting with price updates, catalogue checks and data management
• Facilitating quick and effective communication between the sales team
• Ensuring all sales teams have the tools and support required to call on customers effectively
• To comply with the Macmillan customer centricity plan
