We will offer an exciting opportunity for directors, administrators, and teachers to gather data pertinent
to the many aspects of overseeing a quality child care program. The morning will offer a key note
speaker with various afternoon breakout sessions. Topics will include:



The day will include a continental breakfast, lunch, and a snack. Educational vendors will be present to
display their latest materials. Many free resources will be provided by the conference committee.
Early bird registration rates apply until March 1, 2015, with additional discounts for NAEYC members,
and $20.00 savings for anyone attending both days of the conference. CEU’s will be available for an
additional $10.00 fee, and raffle tickets may be purchased for themed baskets and other materials.
Come join colleagues from across the area to network and collaborate on issues that are unique to
your daily responsibilities, while earning five hours of in-service time.

The annual conference offers an opportunity for early childhood providers and administrators to
enhance their skills and share their experiences in a professional atmosphere, while gaining 5
clock hours of in-service time. A complete listing of sessions and descriptions will be available on
the website for your viewing by the first week in February. Topics will include:

There are no pre-assigned sessions. CEU’s (.05) may be earned for an additional fee of $10.00.
Lunch is included in the registration fees which range from $45.00-$55.00. There are Early Bird
reduced rates, with additional savings for NAEYC members, and a $20.00 savings for attending
both days of the conference. Raffle tickets may be purchased for raffle drawings for classroom
materials and themed baskets, and a conference tee-shirt may be pre-ordered by Mar 15.

Registration Information














Enjoy “Early Bird” reduced registration rate until March 1, 2015.
Members enjoy additional savings over non-members rates.
Registration fee includes a boxed lunch on Saturday and/or a pasta lunch on Friday.
Payment may be made online through the RBAEYC website using PayPal, or mailed in with
cash, check, money order, or business purchase order.
Make checks payable to RBAEYC. Your cancelled check is your receipt.
To receive confirmation, please include a valid email address on the registration form
PO’s will be processed with original count as submitted. No credit will be given after the
conference for absences.
No refunds of registration fees
Use one registration form per person. Form may be duplicated and is also available on the
RBAEYC web site as a printable PDF.
To ensure correct spelling of name on nametag, please print clearly.

P ARKING : F ree parking is provided in the yellow parking lot near the Daniel J. Conoyer
Social Sciences Building (SSB).
CORE CONTENT AREAS AND CDA SUBJECT AREAS
In the final conference brochure all conference sessions will be identified by the Kansas/Missouri
Core Competencies and the CDA Competencies
IN-SERVICE AND CDA HOURS
For each day of the conference you attend, you will receive 5 clock hours of in-service training.
CEU’S
You may choose to receive 0.5 CEU’s for each day of training. To obtain CEU’s you must pay an
additional fee of $10.00 per day, and return to the registration area at the end of the conference to
turn in your certificate of attendance with your social security number.
SESSION ASSIGNMENTS
There are NO pre-assigned sessions. You may attend any session where seating is available.
Room capacity is determined by fire codes.
VENDORS : Check the website for vendors who will be in attendance.
ADDITIONAL SITE INFOMRATION: St. Charles Community College is a smoke free campus.
CONFERENCE TEE-SHIRTS
We will be offering a conference tee-shirt for $12.50 These can only be purchased as a pre-order
with your registration, by MARCH 15. It will be royal blue with a white imprint and wording on the
front. Sizes range from adult small to adult 3X. A sample can be seen on the RBAEYC website.
Missouri PD ID# Required
The Missouri professional development system now provides for conference attendance to be
recorded electronically through the Training Calendar and the OPEN web site, and that system will
be incorporated again this year at the conclusion of the conference. All Missouri early childhood
professional’s in-service hours will be verified exclusively through this system beginning in 2014. If
you do not have a MOPD ID#, please go to www.openinitiative.org/MOPDIDSignUp.aspx and follow
the prompts there. That number will be need to be included on your registration form.
Rybicki Scholarship / Raffle Baskets
RBAEYC sponsors a “themed basket” raffle during the conference, with proceeds going to the
Rybicki Scholarship Fund. The Carolyn and Jerry Rybicki Scholarship was established in memory
of a family who gave tirelessly to ensuring high quality early care and education for young children
in the St. Louis Metropolitan area. This scholarship allows a RBAEYC member to receive monetary
assistance to attend the NAEYC National Conference each year.
Baskets with various themes, i.e., literacy, dramatic play, “energy”, teacher comfort, etc. will be
displayed at the conference for this raffle. Raffle tickets will sell for $1.00 each or six (6) for $5.00,
and may be pre-purchased with your registration, or onsite in the raffle area, before 12:15 p.m. on
Saturday. Tickets purchased on your registration form will be available when you check in and
secure your nametag, A name and phone number must be printed on each ticket. There is no limit
to the number of tickets you may purchase. So, look for the “raffle ticket” box at the end of the
registration form.
A separate ticket container is provided for each raffle basket offered, so you may enter only the
raffles that interest you. Drawings will be held during lunch on Saturday, and names will be posted
in the raffle area, and/or announced in the main area during that time. Baskets may be claimed by
the end of the conference, and any winner not in attendance that day will be contacted immediately
to make other arrangements for pick-up.
If you or your organization would like to supply a raffle basket to support the Scholarship,
please send an email by March 15, 2015 to [email protected] for additional information. All
donors will be recognized in the final conference brochure.

at 800-210-2602 for assistance in the membership registration process
 If you join during the conference registration process, please attach a copy of your on-line
receipt to receive the conference “member” rate.
 When registering for the conference as a current member, please provide your membership
number and expiration date on the registration form.
 Membership numbers will be verified through the NAEYC database for current status.
Expired members will be charged the non-member rate.

Membership is in the name of the individual; directors cannot use their membership
number for their staff.
Directions
From I-70 take exit 222 (Mid Rivers Mall Dr.) Go South on Mid Rivers Mall Drive for approximately
3 miles. The campus is located on the right side of the street. Continue past the front of the
college, and turn right on Cottleville Parkway, then right at the second traffic light into the yellow
parking lot in front of the Daniel J Conoyer, Social Sciences Building (SSB). Enter any door.
From I-40 take Exit 94 North Exit at the Mid Rivers Mall Dr Exit and turn left onto Mid Rivers Mall
Drive going north for approximately 2 miles. The college is located on the left side of the street.
Turn left on Cottleville Parkway then right at second light into the yellow parking lot in front of the
Daniel J Conoyer, Social Sciences Building (SSB) Enter any door.
