It starts with fun and good
times. So, come celebrate
National Youth Week at
the launch event, turning
an ordinary place into an
extraordinary good time.
Activities include live music, dance, free food,
giveaways, Big Brother Diary Room, Songs for
Social Change, the City of Onkaparinga Youth
Recognition Awards, fun activities where you can try
drumming or aerosol art and much more.
The Youth Recognition Awards will be presented by
the Mayor at the National Youth Week Launch event.
The awards acknowledge young people aged
between 8–25 years whose quiet achievements and
contributions are not ordinarily recognised. These
awards are an initiative of the Onkaparinga Youth
Committee (OYC).

Multifaceted circus production,
