Opposing the EU - US Trade Agreement (TTIP) Supporting an English Parliament and a regional assembly for Wessex A personal message to voters from Rick Heyse ‘I am standing in these elections to offer you a choice of voting for a candidate that is genuinely opposed to an agenda of cuts and austerity. Britain is one of the richest countries in the world, yet whilst many millionaires, the super rich and big businesses avoid paying their taxes, the rest of us, especially the most vulnerable in society, pay the price through cutbacks and hardship. I feel it’s about time local authorities and councillors said ‘No’ to the government and put ordinary people first and not the millionaires! I already work on campaigns with other anti-austerity groups, candidates and councillors across the country and would network with these to represent the interests of local people in the battle against austerity as well as working for what is best for the ward, Paignton and Torbay as a whole. I cannot promise to change things, but what I can promise is if something needs saying or fighting for, you can count on me to do exactly that.’ If you have access to the internet, Rick’s full manifesto can be viewed on his website at the address below - alternatively you can contact him with any questions on 07906 890 848 www.rh4roundham.weebly.com
