Pastoral Council
The Wellness Group is collecting hygiene
articles for the homeless through Sunday, March 29th.
We are coming up on our final opportunity to
donate these most basic necessities.
Baskets marked
“Catholic Center Collection Hygiene Articles”
will be near the church doors to receive these items!
Thank you!
The American Red Cross Bloodmobile
will be here this
Sunday, March 22nd
in the gym.
Hours are 8:45 a.m. - 1:15 p.m.
My name is Theresa (Terri) Coffey and I have been
on our Pastoral Council for four years. Council is not
a clique. No college degree required. No special
training. Often we do not even know each other
but by the 2nd or 3rd meeting you wouldn’t know it.
There are no meetings in June, July, August or
December.
We are working men and women and retirees with a
desire to help Father Klasinski make our parish grow
and prosper. We do this by listening to YOU and
bringing suggestions to Council. Welcome Sunday,
Ministry Fair, the Young Hearts group, and now the
Photo Directory, are projects started in Council.
I invite you to come and see who we are and what
we do! Please contact Ken Lange at 440.684.0044.
We are looking forward to meeting you!
Did you register for your free, professional photo?
It’s quick & easy! See page 5.
St. Clare School Corner - A Christ-Centered, Child-Centered Education
Dear St. Clare Parish Family,
St. Clare School students are fully engaged in their Lenten practices which demonstrate a spirit of commitment during the
Lenten season. Each classroom door has the parish Lenten theme of “Forgive One Another” on it along with a large cross.
On the classroom crosses are posted notes showing what our students are practicing at home or school for this season of
Lent. These practices have helped to create a greater spiritual awareness throughout our school community.
Just a reminder that on Friday, March 27th, the St. Clare School will conduct a Drop-In Day from 9-11:30 a.m. This will
give anyone interested a chance to see our students and teachers in action. For information, or to schedule a tour time,
please call the school office at 440-449-4242, x 102 or 118.
Sincerely in Christ,
Frank Przybojewski
Principal

St. Clare School Testimonials Bobby Goff, former student, Class of 2014:
Saint Clare prepared me for everything I could ever need in high school. The school
gave me more than just an academic education and for that I have the teachers to
thank. The way my friends and school staff respected me was exceptional. This
taught me to treat others as those friends treated me.
The warm welcome from Kindergarten through eighth grade by the teaching staff was great. As a first grader, I remember
looking up to the older kids so I gave it my best effort to be a role model for the younger kids who were ultimately looking up
to me. As far as teaching me to behave as a young adult and how to be a man, Saint Clare prepared me for that as well. The
rules and guidelines I followed were just a basic outline for a respectable man’s behavior.
What parent would not be proud of statements such as these? Saint Clare School has the best - best staff, best parents, best students.
This testimonial encapsulates ALL that Saint Clare is about. In addition, Saint Clare is the least expensive private school in the area. The
Saint Clare Community is well rounded with the Church, the School and the Family. Clearly Saint Clare has its priorities in order!

ST. CLARE COMMUNITY OUTREACH - A MESSAGE FOR OUR PARISHIONERS
Hunger and helplessness extend far beyond Thanksgiving and Christmas. More children than we
realize face hunger each day and confusion as to why they are not being fed. Parents also face
hunger, guilt, helplessness and hopelessness.
The Outreach pantry is in great need of the following nonperishable items: Soups, pastas and pasta
sauce, vegetables, fruit, cereals, mac & cheese, canned tuna, peanut butter & jelly, cake mixes and
brownie mixes. Anything you would normally purchase for your own family would be greatly
appreciated by those in our community who struggle with hunger.
Some things, like cake & brownie mixes, may seem unnecessary, however, a parent feels good when
he can bake something special for the family. Warmth, love and an enticing aroma in the house all
help to lend a sense of normalcy and hope for another week.
Thank you for your support and generosity in the past and for your continued support today.
