Join the Saskatchewan Marathon Volunteer Race Crew
Friday, May 29 to Sunday, May 31, 2015:
First of all, thank you for the help you have given us over the years. This
awesome event could not take place without the hard work of our terrific
volunteers and we truly appreciate your dedication! 31 days and counting to the 37th Annual Saskatchewan
Marathon presented by PotashCorp and the Saskatoon Road
Runners Association
In order to put on a successful event, we need YOU to join our crew! More than
3,000 runners have registered for the race already, and we anticipate we’ll be
close to 4,000 by race day.
SIGN UP to Volunteer BY MAY 8 to be entered for the draw!
While it is hard to believe that in a few short weeks we will be off and running
again (pun intended!), the Saskatchewan Marathon truly could not succeed
without the hard work and dedication of our volunteers. As a special “Thank

You!”, all volunteers who sign up to volunteer through our website before May
8th will be entered into a draw for two (2) Pasta Dinner Tickets for Saturday,
May 30th at 5:00 PM at TCU Place. Three sets of two tickets will be given
away, so this is a great time to get signed up. VOLUNTEER NOW!
The Pasta Dinner is brought to you by Craven SPORT Services Special guest speakers Colette Bourgonje, a Saskatchewan’s multi­medal
Paralympic athlete for both winter and summer Paralympic games, and her
protégé Brittany Hudak, a Para­Nordic Cross Country Skier will talk about their
journeys. The dinner will be emceed by Leisha Grebinski, CBC Radio One’s
host of Saskatoon Morning, on 94.1FM and Honourary Race Chair for the
Saskatchewan Marathon. If you don’t win free tickets, you can purchase them
by calling the office at 306­652­1479.
It is a fulfilling weekend, so much fun, and a rewarding experience where you
will make a difference in the lives of new and veteran runners and walkers. As
part of the volunteer crew, you will meet people from all walks of life and make
forever friends who share the same passion.
Continue the legacy of amazing volunteers by being an ambassador of our city
and sport!
