A money tree will be available for churches
or individuals wishing to give a gift.
Reliable funding allows the church to plan for expenses, carry
out programs, maintain outreach activities and help those in
need.
We would like to thank everyone who supported our
seniors last Sunday at the senior luncheon. It was a
wonderful turn-out and definitely a blessing to us.
Special thanks goes out to Cynthia Clement for her
organization, Johnny and Connie Harrison for the Dr.
Seuss presentation, and the Richard Rogers’ Young
Adult Sunday School Class for volunteering to do the
food and decorations. We appreciate all the love we receive from our church family.
The next Ladies’ Brunch
Group meeting will be on
Sunday, June 7th at 9:00am
in the Youth Center. Come
bring a dish to share and
join us for fellowship!
The next Wesleyan Circle
meeting will be on
Thursday, May 21st.
Sincerely,
Susanna, Tammy, & Bob Brown
I said a Mother’s Day prayer for you
To thank the Lord above.
For blessing me with a lifetime of
Your tenderhearted love.
I thanked God for the caring
You’ve shown me through the years,
For the closeness we’ve enjoyed in
Time of laughter and of tears.
And so, I thank you from the heart
For all you’ve done for me,
And I bless the Lord for giving me
The best mother there could be!

The Laity Club will meet on
Tuesday, June 2nd at 6:00pm
at Roberson Chapel UMC.
Given in honor of Be?y Lynn Collier by Suzanne McFall.
The National Day of Prayer is Thursday, May 7th. The theme for 2015
is Lord, Hear Our Cry, emphasizing the need for individuals, corporately and individually, to place their faith in the unfailing character of
What’s in the Bag?
their Creator, who is sovereign over all governments, authorities, and

men. I Kings 8:28 is the scripture for this year: “Hear the cry and the

prayer that your servant is praying in your presence this day.”
05/24 Tammy Brown
This year in Hardin County, we will observe the National Day of Prayer
03/31 Richard Rogers

others to pray for our city, state, and country.
Anyone who would like to volunteer to help
with the “What’s in the Bag?” ministry,
please call Betty Lynn Collier at 607-5757.
