‘School Positive Behaviour’: SafetyLearner- Respect-Responsibility
Both classes have now been sent home with an expression of interest form for school camp. Both camps will
be held at the end of Term 3 (Week 9 for P-2 and Week
10 for 3-6). The P-2 will have a day trip to Childers to
visit 3 local a&rac'ons before sleeping over at the
school. The 3-6 class will travel to Hervey Bay for 2
nights and explore the area in detail. Before we can
finalise prices for both camps, we need to know how
many students will be par'cipa'ng. The sooner we receive all expression of interest forms back, the sooner
we can finalise prices and prepare invoices. Thank you
to those families who have already returned their
forms!

LEM Training
Mrs Breen will be a&ending a 3 day LEM Phonics training course next Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday
morning. I have been in contact with the trainer and he
has provided us with an amazing deal! He is offering any
interested parents the opportunity to join in with this
course for a very reduced fee of $75. This is a fantas'c
opportunity for those parents who would like a more indepth understanding of our program! Please let me
know by tomorrow, Friday 22nd May, if you are interested in this offer so I can give you the details of the
course 'mes and loca'on!
A endance Rate
Tomorrow is P&C Apprecia'on Day. On behalf of the
staff and students at Bullyard, I would like to take this
opportunity to say ‘Thank You’ to our very hard working
commi&ee members, both past and present! Our P&C
meet regularly and work 'relessly to help raise funds to
help support our students. Without the valuable contribu'ons that our P&C make, programs such as Mathle'cs and Reading Eggs and camp buses would need to
be funded by the school itself. Your support and assistance is very much appreciated by all involved with the
school.
Our a&endance rate this week is siHng at 93.42%. Our
goal is to reach 95%. Many of our students are well on
their way to reaching their 7 full a&endance weeks in
order to be eligible to a&end our rewards disco! Remember—every day counts!!
