VOLUNTEERING
VOLUNTEERING YOUR SERVICE
Whether you are looking for your first job or planning a career move, volunteer experiences
can be very beneficial. This is a great opportunity to acquire new skills and experience
while providing needed service to an organization.
Employers consider skills gained through volunteer and community service experiences
to be just as pertinent and valuable as those skills acquired through paid employment.
As an upper year student at Humber, you can volunteer to mentor new student’s transition
into college life or mentor high school students who are enrolled in the dual credit program.
Visit the peer mentoring website to find out more:

website: CAREERS.HUMBER.CA
