KRYTERION QUICK REFERENCE GUIDE
1. Always read the “Proctor Instructions” prior to the scheduled test event.
2. Greet Test Taker and obtain their Test Taker Authorization Code and 2 forms of identification. Record the Test
Taker information on the ‘Test Taker Tracking Log’.
3. Have the Test Taker place ALL of their belongings in a lockable storage unit for safekeeping.
4. Have the Test Taker read the ‘Test Taker Testing Procedures’ document in the waiting area and proceed to the
testing room with the Test Taker Authorization Code, but NOT with the Test Taker.
5. Log in at www.webassessor.com at the designated workstation and enter your Proctor login and password.
6. To initiate the Test Taker’s test, click the ‘Launch’ tab located on the top toolbar on the right.
7. Launch Assessment - Step 1: Enter the ‘Test Taker Authorization Code’ provided by the test taker and click
‘Next’.
8. Launch Assessment - Step 2: check off each box after you have confirmed that the step has been completed.
9. Enter your KCP Security code and click ‘Next’.
10. Launch Assessment - Step 3: This screen prepares you for a security pop-up. Click next and then “Open” or
“Run” on the pop-up window.
11. At the Welcome Test Taker screen (this screen is for the Test Taker), return to the waiting area and ask the Test
Taker if he/she has any questions before entering the testing area.
12. Provide the Test Taker with any test aids permitted per the “Proctor Instructions” and escort the Test Taker into
the testing room.
13. Instruct the Test Taker to read the entire screen and click ‘Start Test’ when ready to begin the test.
14. Monitor the test session throughout its entirety.
15. When the Test Taker has completed the exam, close the test session by entering your Proctor Login and KCP
Security Code if required, and collect back any test aids provided prior to checking out the Test Taker.
TROUBLESHOOTING
PROBLEM
SOLUTION
White or frozen screen appears
during a test launch or test
session.
Press the F5 button to refresh the screen. The screen should refresh allowing the
Test Taker to proceed. If pressing F5 does not work or the problem continues to
happen, you are required to call the Kryterion Testing Network Team at 866-5798374 or 602-659-4666.
Test taker arrives without their
authorization code
DO NOT turn the Test Taker away. We ask that you contact the Kryterion Testing
Network Team at 866-579-8374 or 602-659-4666 in order to retrieve the Test Taker’s
authorization code.
