YEAR 5 TRIP TO THE EXOTIC ZOO CENTRE
On Friday Year 5 visited the Exotic Zoo
Education Centre in Telford. They took
part in the environmental and educational
workshops and had a great time learning
about the animals. A big thank you to the parents who
accompanied the children on the trip.
TOAST AT MORNING BREAK TIME
Children work better when they are
well fed, meaning they are not getting
hunger pains and are able to
concentrate on the exciting learning
they are doing in school. With this in
mind, Dawley C of E will be offering toast at Morning Break
time. There will be charge for this of 10p per slice, in the
first instance. We hope that you can see the benefit as
children being offered this service, and will support the
school in getting this scheme up and running. Detail of
when this is to start to follow.
PTFA— FUNDRAISING
The PTFA is a great way of supporting
the school by having Summer Fayres,
Firework events, Raffles, Mufti days
etc. For this to succeed we need the
support from the parents/relatives and
your fantastic ideas. If any parents
would be interested in supporting these
events their children would have free
admission to the events you support on the day. Please
support the PTFA and call into the school to see Mrs
Watton via the school office. Mrs Middleton in Nursery
won last week’s PTFA fundraising card organised by Mrs
Watton.
