Glide through
the snow
Some believe that cross-country skiing is
like meditating in the great wide open.
The 8km trail that takes you across glittering
snow fields and through dense forests to
some of the region’s most stunning locations
is maintained with fresh artificial snow
from December onwards.

Dancing with
snow flakes
There is no more romantic way of exploring the snow-covered fields and forests
around Bad Kleinkirchheim than a ride
in a horse-drawn carriage. And while the
scenery glides past, there is plenty of time
to look out for the most beautiful routes
for that winter hike.
If you’d rather reach for your ice skates
than your ski boots, you shouldn’t miss
skating in nearby Feld am See, in a
gloriously untouched natural setting.
