#7300 (Regulations 7300.1-.4) authorizes the disposal of personal property/assets, as

the Board of Education, upon the recommendation of the Superintendent, approves the
Settlement Agreement and General Release entered into with the parents of student
#5235702302 to resolve a special education related dispute for the 2016-2017 school year.

approve JAG-ATC Physical Therapy to provide substitute Certified Athletic Trainer
services at the High School for the 2016-2017 school year at a rate of $50 per hour, as
attached by reference.
A-11 Approval of Memorandum of Understanding with Bedtime Math Foundation– BE IT
RESOLVED: that the Board of Education, upon the recommendation of the School
Business Administrator approve a Memorandum of Understanding between Bedtime Math
Foundation and Hackettstown Public Schools to introduce a math app to parents for the
2016-2017 school year, as attached by reference.

Approval of Memorandum of Understanding with NORWESCAP Head Start– BE IT
RESOLVED: that the Board of Education, upon the recommendation of the School
Business Administrator approve a Memorandum of Understanding with NORWESCAP
Head Start to collaborate with Hackettstown Public Schools to provide appropriate services
for children and families for the 2016-2017 school year, as attached by reference.
A-13 Approval of Use of Facilities for Extra & Co-curricular Activities - BE IT
RESOLVED: that the Board of Education, upon recommendation of the School Business
Administrator, approve use of Facilities for Extra & Co-Curricular Activities for 2016-2017,
as attached by reference.
A-14 Approval of Rental Space at Hackettstown High School with Warren County Special
Service School District. BE IT RESOLVED: that the Board of Education, upon recommendation
of the School Business Administrator, approve a rental lease for a (BD and MD) classroom at the
Hackettstown High School. The annual rental for 2016-2017 is $8,000.00 and Ancillary
Services for 2016-2017 is $7,300.00. The annual rental for 2017-2018 is $8,200.00 and
Ancillary Services for 2017-2018 is $7,500.00 as attached by reference.

A-15 Approval of Contract with Eccotrol. LLC – BE IT RESOLVED: that the Board of
Education, upon the recommendation of the School Business Administrator approve a
contract with Eccotrol, LLC to provide a Building Automation System Support Program for
the Hackettstown High School from July 1, 2016 to June 30, 2017 at an annual cost of
$4,800.00.

introduce an alternative education option, with a transition to work component, which will provide an acceptable educational setting for at risk

REPORTS TO:

JOB GOAL:
To transport pupils in a safe and efficient manner and perform all
activities related to the operation of the school bus.
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Conducts a pre-trip safety inspection of the bus prior to every trip and completes the School
Bus Condition Report.
2. Notifies School Business Administrator of any mechanical malfunctions and/or safety
hazards
3. Adheres to established routes, designated bus stops, and keeps to assigned time schedule.
4. Transports only authorized pupils and ensures that all students have left the bus at the end of
the route.
5. Obeys all traffic laws and observes mandatory school bus safety regulations.
6. Reports all accidents and pupil injuries immediately to the principal and the school business
administrator and completes required reports.
7. Participates in emergency evacuation drills in accordance with administrative code and board
policy, and instructs passengers regarding safety regulations and other bus rules.
8. Performs interior bus cleaning duties daily, cleans windows and exterior as needed, and
refuels the vehicle.
