Ett bord som kompletterar stolen Akustik. Sarglöst bord i
björk, ek/natur eller bets eller laminat.
Bordskiva försedd med ljuddämpande material, ett bord
som passar bullriga miljöer som restauranger/cafér,
skolor och bibliotekt. Ben av björk eller ek med beslag av
pressgjuten aluminium alternativt färglackerat, svart eller
vitt. Bordet finns i flera storlekar och kan förberedas för
el/datainstallation.
A table that complements the chair Akustik. Borderless
table with a table top in natural birch, oak or stained or
laminate. The top features sound-absorbent material,
making the table Akustik suitable for noisy environments
like restaurants/cafés, schools and libraries. Legs in solid
birch or oak with sitting in moulded aluminium or lacquerd
in white or black. The table is available in various sizes
and can be adjusted for electric/computer installation.

Fällbord i björk/natur eller bets. Bordskiva i lättviktslamell
belagd med björkfanér, laminat eller bordslinoleum.
Bordet kan kopplas och förses med front.
Finns i två storlekar, 1250 x 625mm och
1250 x 500mm, höjd 720mm.
Ballerina tar minimal plats ihopfällt, 53mm på höjden och
vikt ca 10kg. Strävan har varit att utveckla ett praktiskt
och funktionellt fällbord som kombinerar lätthet och styrka.
Ett bord för många olika sammanhang.
Folding table in natural birch or stained. Table top in
lightweight laminate with a surface of birch veneer,
laminate or table linoleum. The table is linkable and can
be equipped with front pieces.
Comes in two sizes, 1250 x 625mm or
1250 x500mm, height of 720mm.
Ballerina takes up minimal space when folded, 53mm in
height and weight ca10kg. The vision has been to develop
a practical and functional folding table that combines
lightness and strength. A table for many different
occasions.

kopplingsbar och kan förses med skrivskiva.
Day är en elegant, bekväm och funktionell karmstol för
olika mötesplatser.
Armchair, seat and back in natural walnut or ash.
Frame in chromed or lacquered steel tubing.
Armrest in natural walnut or ash.
Upholstered in fabric or leather or only on the inside back
and seat. The cover is easily removed thanks to a zipper
between the upholstery of the seat and back. Stackable,
linkable and can be equipped with a writing pad.
Day is an elegant, comfortable and functional meeting
chair.

Moderna är en vidareutveckling och förfining av en tidigare
modell formgiven av Åke Axelsson. 250 stycken Moderna
har nyligen levererats till Moderna Museets restaurang
Skeppsholm i Stockholm. En klassisk stol för vår tid med lång
tradition i möbelhistorien.
Chair in natural beech, stain or lacquer with a split or
one-piece back.
Seat in veneer or coverd in fabric or leather.
Sound absorbent material under the seat. Stackable.
Moderna is a refinement of a previous chair designed by Åke
Axelsson. 250 pieces of Moderna were recently supplied to
the restaurant of the Moderna Museet in Stockholm. A classic
chair for our time with a long tradition in furniture history.

Stolens konstruktion bygger på förebilder från stolens äldsta
historia i form av 3–400 år gamla bevarade original och
bilder från Egypten och den antika grekiska kulturen.
Stomme i massiv obehandlad bok eller ek.
Sits och rygg i kraftigt vegetabiliskt garvat läder natur,
svart eller mörkbrunt. Lös sittdyna i mocka.
Valet av material och konstruktion förutsätter en ekologisk och
miljövänlig tillverkning och ger en lång hållbarhet. Fåtöljen
levereras omonterad i en specialdesignad kartong.
A classic safaris armchair designed by Åke Axelsson. After
twenty years of work is now Ferdinand complete!
The chair’s design is based on some of history’s oldest chairs
in the form of still-existing three- to four-hundred-year-old
originals, and images from Egypt and ancient Greece.
The chair frame is made of solid untreated beech or oak.
Seat and back in sturdy vegetable-tanned leather in tanned,
black or dark brown colours. Loose seat cushion of suede.
The choice of material and construction requires ecological
and environmentally friendly production methods and results
in long sustainability. The easy chair is delivered
unassembled in a specially designed box.

“I have been inspired by old movie recording lamps and its
heavy industrialized appearance. They were created first for
functionality and secondary from an aesthetic point of view. I
wanted to maintain good functionality for a domestic use and
make the aesthetic as an equally important element in the
equation.
The lamp was from the beginning designed with Gärsnäs in mind
and their philosophy about furniture that they should be durable,
beautiful and make people feel good.
The name of the lamp comes from the movement pattern of the
lamp head which is similar to the eye movements. The four
muscles that control up, down, left and right in the eye is together
called Orbit. As the lamp now are called.”

“The name of the chair and table is Österlen, to emphasise the fact that this chair is built in this historically
strong part of southern Sweden (and designed by an even more southern person). Working with Gärsnäs was
a great opportunity to design wooden furniture – something that is not possible to do in France, where no
wood products factory would ask a contemporary designer to work for it. I knew that the furniture would be
built well due to the great knowledge of this company.
“I wanted to combine typical bentwood techniques with the high-level assembly skills of Gärsnäs. My aim was
to create a simple, light and quiet – but not minimalist – chair and table that would be nice in contemporary
homes or in more traditional ones, and good both for domestic settings and contract use.
“The main characteristic of the chair is the U cuts made into the legs and bent sections. Curves become
flattened and the light strikes the sections in a different way that gives a soft rhythm to the chair.
“The cuts in the bent back are designed to add comfort by increasing the angle with the seat. The cuts to the
back section allow the back to be assembled. On the front legs the cuts create flat sections that can be joined
to the seat, creating a nice diagonal construction. The cuts to the lower parts of the legs sharpen the shape of
the legs and add a sense of energy to the Österlen chair and table.”
