The Rotary Club of the Northern Palm Beaches has
participated and contributed to many international,
national and community projects
Rotary Camp Florida - for special
needs children.
Polio Plus - eradicating Polio
worldwide.
Clinics Can Help - gives medical
equipment and supplies to children
and adults in need.
Wheelchair Foundation - to deliver
a wheelchair to every child, teen and
adult in the world who needs one.
Dictionary Project - distributing
dictionaries to third grade students in
eight local elementary schools.
Boy Scouts of America - Gulf
Stream Council, Tanah Keeta Scout
Reservation. Home to approximately
16,000 youth. Rotary has given
scholarships, tools, equipment and
has given time in setting up camp for
youth in the summer.
Family Promise - is part of a national
organization dedicated to ending
family homelessness by providing
displaced families temporary shelter,
transportation, meals and support
services.
Student of the Month - Each month
during the school year, our Club
celebrates the accomplishments of
a deserving fifth grade student from
each of twelve local elementary
schools. During the luncheon, the
student’s list of achievements is
read and the student is awarded a
certificate, bumper sticker and a gift
certificate.
Interact Club - Rotary sponsored
service clubs for young people ages
12 to 18 at Jupiter Middle and Palm
Beach Gardens High schools. Each
Interact Club completes several local
and one international service project
each year.
Center for Family Services providing Thanksgiving dinners.
Alliance for Kids - “Monkey for Me”
(a stuffed animal program) helping
pediatric patients and their families
cope with their disease, treatment
and hospital environment.
Plus, a scholarship program for
area high school seniors and other
service projects.
