Verschiedene Länder - verschiedene Würste.
jedenfalls verschiedene Bezeichnungen.
In Österreich heißen sie Frankfurter.
In Deutschland/Berlin Wiener.
Nicht verstanden? Is ja wurscht!
Different countries -different sausages.
In any case difference names.
In Ausria they are called Frankfurter.
In Germany/Berlin Wiener.
Did not get it? A fat lot I care!

Sonja Kirschning
1981 Berlin / Germany, lives and works in Berlin
Sonja apprenticed photography at a private Designschool in Berlin and collaborates with different
artists: Ryoichi Nakamura, Nils von Berg, Claus Deuerling to emerge a suspense-packed atmosphere
to crash the limits of photography as a media element.
For her it gives a notion of meaning and memory, to collect moments and to get an extraction of the
self-examination.
The range of possibilities for using the field of photography as a basis to stretch the ordinary
imagination is her main interest.
An ingredient of the globalism’s anyspacewhatever.

Diasparagmos (sanded Ink-Jet Print, 12 x 19 x 28 cm, 2009)
The work diasparagmos at IDANOWHERE is a tableau of
sanded ink-jet prints seductive through the intense colour
which remains in the paper and the dancing amorphous
shapes on it. One piece out of a series called
“Schleifbilder”.

info about the piece of art you’re showing (3-5 sentences):
challenging existence through the mediation of the
senses by technology
She founded with other artists in Florenz an art collective call the Esagitati, we organized several
collective art events, than in 2007 with Mario Stagi we invented the Immagini di Vetro Project,
a live experimental performance about art interactions between meanings, colours, music, light,
material.
Her paint style is eclectic, following the feeling of the moment experience, always researching about
materials, looking for abstraction and symbolic images ...
