Top Liquids Pocket
28L / 22L / 18L
The liquids pocket is located at the top of the
luggage piece. Easy zip access and location allow
quick access to toiletry kit or other small items. Its
bellowed design allows it to compress, giving volume
to the main compartment. When fully utilized, the
Ozone is sized to fit a variety of 1L/1qt wash bags or
Osprey's Airporter travel duffel and cover.
Large Access Main Compartment
28L / 22L / 18L
The large access main compartment utilizes a full front panel U-zip opening that
allows quick complete access to gear. The stiff zipper path provides structure
to keep the main compartment wide open while packing or unpacking gear. The
bright internal liner makes it easy to find small items that could otherwise be
hard to find in a large compartment. To help organize small items, it would be
best to utilize the internal zippered pockets.
Top and Side Low Profile Carry Handles
28L / 22L / 18L
There are low profile handles on the top and sides of the Ozone, making it is easy
to grab, pull and carry. With heavy duty fabric on top and soft padded material
underneath, the handles on the top and along both side panels of the pack are easy
to grab and comfortable to use. The fourth handle is molded directly into the front
side of the HighRoad™ Chassis to serve as both a handle and front bumper.
Internal Compression Straps
28L / 22L / 18L
Loads can be fully maximized and stabilized inside
the main compartment of the Ozone. The internal
compression straps connect directly to the
backpanel to cinch down gear.
Main Compartment Lockable Zips
28L / 22L / 18L
The main compartment lockable zipper is designed to
work with TSA-approved travel locks to protect gear
from theft. The burly, anti-theft zipper coil prevents
the bag from being broken open and prevents access.
A When packing, unbuckle the internal compression straps, loosen all the way, and have them hang out of the way along the sides of the pack.
BOnce packed, buckle the straps and evenly cinch them to compress clothes and gear.
A To protect gear, zip together the main compartment,
matching the two eyelets built into the double zippers.

Front Panel Organization Pocket
28L / 22L / 18L
The front panel organization pocket is part of what makes the Ozone stand apart
in the lightweight luggage market. Hidden inside is a zippered pocket to store
travel documents, a wallet, or a passport. Two large mesh pockets inside are
perfect to hold travel snacks, headphones, or other small items. It also includes
a key clip to keep keys secured while traveling.
HighRoad LT™ Chassis
28L / 22L / 18L
A groundbreaking original design by Osprey Packs, The HighRoad LT™
Chassis uses lightweight aluminum tubing for the frame and base of the
Ozone Series. Large wheels with sealed bearings and a high clearance,
curved, molded base allow the wheels to roll over rough terrain. Combined
with the comfortable single bar handle, we created one of the lightest
weight wheeled luggage chassis on the market.
Zippered Rear Pocket
28L / 22L / 18L
The large zippered rear panel pocket is another additional storage option for
items such as magazines, dirty laundry, a jacket or sandals. Located in the
cavity of the HighRoad LT™ Chassis, it gives the pocket’s contents protection
from items in the main compartment. A small mesh drain hole is included at
the bottom of this pocket to let moisture (and any potential smells) escape.

and carry in any situation. With heavy-duty webbing, these ultra-light
bags feature handles that are soft and comfortable to grab on the top
and along the left side panel of the pack. The third handle is bent directly
into the front side of the aluminum HighRoad LT™ Chassis to serve as
both a handle and front bumper.
Lockable Zips for Main Compartment

The main compartment lockable zipper is designed to

The large zippered rear panel pocket contains
removable suspension that can also be an
additional storage pocket.
A Unbuckle the two red buckles that attach the hipbelt and lumbar, hidden behind the backpanel.
BThen, break the hook and loop closure of the harness to remove it and the
hipbelt together.
C With the suspension removed, the rear backpanel can now store items such as magazines, dirty laundry, a jacket or sandals.
ozone Convertible Main Body

The convertible harness, hipbelt and suspension of the main luggage piece can be
deployed to carry Ozone Convertible where wheels can’t go. The ventilated harness
and hipbelt, with mesh-covered, die cut foam, make carrying luggage comfortable
and easy. With an adjustable torso, and tensioned, spacer mesh backpanel, this
pack can be effectively carried over long distances and varied terrain.
HighRoad lt™ Chassis

Unzip the backpanel and deploy the harness and hipbelt.
Tuck the rear panel flap behind the hipbelt lumbar.
Buckle the two male buckles extending below the hipbelt to the two female buckles located at the base of the luggage piece. This tensions the back panel. The hipbelt should fit right over the iliac crest, or the side of your hipbone directly under your armpit, with the padding above and half below.
Adjust the torso so that the harness yoke fits 2" below your C7 vertebra (the bone that sticks out at the base of your neck when you put your head down) with the hipbelt sitting correctly on your iliac crest. To adjust the harness yoke up or down, simply break the hook and loop to move in the preferred position, and relock the hook and loop.
To protect and store the hipbelt and harness when not in use, unbuckle the buckles at the base of the luggage piece, tuck away the harness and hipbelt, and zip up the rear panel.

The daypack dual stretch mesh pockets allow
quick access and storage for a small water bottle,
a camera, snacks, sunscreen or other items that
are needed often while traveling.
A First, unthread the toggles at the base of the pack from the cord loops.
BUnzip the pack from the main body of the luggage piece.
C The daypack is now ready to be carried separate from the main luggage.
D To reinstall, re-zip and re-toggle the pack. The toggles add extra security against theft or zipper failure.

for a natural stretch, a comfortable fit and airflow

backpanel allows ventilation, but stays close to the
back for a lightweight, comfortable fit.

The scratch-free, heat embossed pocket on top of
the pack allows quick access to your sunglasses
or electronics. It is made and patterned to prevent

electronic device for accessing information, watching
a movie, or checking email. The direct access tablet
sleeve not only offers easy access while traveling—
it also uses a heat embossed, scratch-free fabric to
keep the tablet protected and secure.

The unique large panel load main compartment creates quick access to a
laptop and tablet, while maximizing the packing capability of the rest of the
compartment. When unzipped, the padded laptop sleeve and zippered tablet

Ozone Handle-It™

Free up shoulders and back by placing the Ozone
dayback or courier on luggage with the HandleIt™ slot to securely attach it to the wheeled
luggage handle. The Handle-It™ slot is built into
the harness of the daypacks and into a flip-up
tab on the backpanel of the courier. It easily slips
over any Osprey luggage handle systems.
Lower Compartment

The Ozone 46 Travel Pack large zippered lower
compartment is perfect for storing items such as
shoes or camera gear. The bellowed fabric divider
collapses for better packing efficiency.
Ventilated Harness, Hipbelt AND BACKPANEL

The ventilated daypack harness and backpanel are
built to be comfortable in a variety of climates. The
die cut foam harness allows for a natural stretch,
a comfortable fit, and airflow for breathability in
hot climates. The die cut foam backpanel allows
ventilation, but stays close to the back for a
lightweight, comfortable fit.

To store the harness, unbuckle the lower harness straps and tuck it into the zipper pocket at the top of the harness.

PACK / reservoir maintenance
Your Osprey pack is an extremely durable product and is built for years of use.
However, some basic pack maintenance will help ensure your pack lasts a lifetime.
Osprey PACKS

STANDARD MAINTENANCE
RESERVOIR STANDARD MAINTenaNCE
+ After each trip be sure to clean out your pack thoroughly.
+ Our reservoir’s anti-microbial formula prevents most mold and bacteria growth.
+ Clean the zippers regularly using mild soap, warm water and soft brush. This will
help keep them in proper working condition.
+ Rinsing out your reservoir after each use should keep your reservoir fresh,
especially when using sugary drink mixes.
+ If your pack is wet, hang it to dry out of direct sunlight.
+ Periodically use Osprey's Hydraulics™ Cleaning Tablets to clean your reservoir.
+ Loosen all the straps.
+ Iodine or other purifying tablets used in your reservoir will not affect the quality
of your reservoir. However these tablets may stain the reservoir over time.
+ Wash your pack if dirt, sweat, salt and stains have worked their way into fabrics,
webbing or mesh.
(Do not immerse travel packs in water with our HighRoad™ Wheeled Chassis.)
WASHING YOUR PACK
A Empty the pack including any food, dirt or spilled contents.
B If your pack has a removable harness and hipbelt, remove them from the pack body.
C Do NOT wash your pack in a washing machine. Clean your pack and components
in a bathtub or large sink using a mild detergent and warm water.
+ Freezing your reservoir will not effect the quality of the reservoir. However if the
reservoir is filled with water, be aware that water expands when it freezes and
can damage your reservoir if it is overfilled.
+ Do NOT pour boiling water into the reservoir. This can damage the reservoir and
will void your warranty.

D Agitate the pack gently. Scrub the inside and outside of all compartments
including the pockets with a soft brush.
CLEANING YOUR RESERVOIR (with Osprey HYDRAULICS™ CLEANING TABLETS)
E Clean the zippers using a mild soap, warm water and a soft brush. Flush water
and soap through the buckles. Keeping dirt and debris out of the zippers and
buckles will help keep them in proper working condition.
B Add one cleaning tablet to reservoir and close the cap.
F Drain the dirty water from the bathtub or sink and refill with cool clean nonsoapy water. Rinse the pack thoroughly. Repeat this step as neccessary.
E Pinch the bite valve and squeeze the reservoir to remove air and fill the
reservoir hose and bite valve with solution.
G Hang your pack to dry outside or in a well ventilated area, out of direct sunlight.
F Let the reservoir sit for 15 minutes and then pour out solution.
AFill reservoir with warm water. Do not use bleach or boiling water.
C Let tablet dissolve for 5 minutes with the reservoir laying on its back.
D Shake the reservoir for 30 seconds to mix and spread the solution.
G Rinse the reservoir and tube with clean cool water.
WHEELED TRAVEL LUGGAGE
H Hang your reservoir to dry in a well ventilated area.
(Do not immerse travel packs in water with our HighRoad™ Wheeled Chassis.)

deep CLEANING YOUR RESERVOIR (with Osprey HYDRAULICS™ cleaning kit)
B Clean the zippers regularly using mild soap, warm water and soft brush. This will
help keep them in proper working condition.
1 Rinse out the reservoir and fill it with warm water and a mild dish detergent.
Do not use bleach or boiling water.
C Wipe the exterior of the chassis with a damp cloth or sponge.
2 With the large cleaning brush from Osprey's Hydraulics™ Cleaning Kit scrub the
interior of the reservoir.
DClean the pack fabric by scrubbing stains and dirt with warm water, mild
detergent and a soft brush or sponge.
E Use a wet towel with clean non-soapy water to wipe away any soap residue on
the pack.
F Hang your pack to dry outside or in a well ventilated area, out of direct sunlight.
3 Remove the hose from the reservoir and the bite valve from the hose and use
the small brush from Osprey's Hydraulics™ Cleaning Kit to scrub the interior of
the hose.
4 Remove the silicone bite valve cover and clean it and the bite valve with warm
soapy water.
5Rinse the interior and exterior of the reservoir, hose and bite valve parts with
cool clean water.
RECOMMENDED CLEANING PRODUCTS
Osprey recommends Nikwax® products for pack care. Be sure to read
label directions carefully before applying any product to your pack.
6 Let the hose and bite valve dry in a well-ventilated area.
7 Insert Osprey's Hydraulics™ Cleaning Kit drying rack into the reservoir and
hang to dry in a well ventilated area.
Tech Wash® - Use this with warm water for washing and cleaning your
packs or luggage.
Tent & Gear Solar Proof® - Use this spray-on product to protect your packs from
UV exposure and to improve water repellency.
