Lo, there was a great earthquake, for the angel of the Lord
descended from heaven, and
came and rolled away the stone
and sat upon it; his appearance
was as lightning and his clothes
were as white as snow. For fear
of him, the guards trembled and
became as dead men.
And the angel said to the women, “Be not afraid I know that you
seek Jesus of Nazareth who was
crucified. He is risen. He is not
here. Why seek the living among
the dead? Remember how He
spoke to you while He was still
in Galilee, saying, ‘The Son of
Man must be delivered up into
the hands of sinful man and be
crucified and on the third day rise
again.’ Come now and see that
place where He lay. (Then they
remembered His words.)”
“Go quickly and tell His disciples and Peter that He is risen
from the dead, and lo, He goes before you into Galilee. There, you
will see Him as He told you.”
Some went away with fear and
trembling and said nothing because they were afraid. Others
went away quickly with fear and
great joy and ran to tell the disciples.

Church Rummage Sale is Saturday, April 6 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.
at the church located at 11525 Big
Bend Rd.
Contributions and donations to
the sale are welcome, and may
be dropped off at the church. For
the drop-off times or to arrange a
pickup, contact Sandy Knight at

Needed items include household furnishings, kitchen items,
toys, children’s clothing (in good
condition), jewelry and books are
needed.
There will also be a bake sale
and hot dogs available at the sale.

The United Methodist Church of
Sun City Center welcomes Southern Gospel duo The Puffers, Bob
and Darlene Puffer, on Friday,
April 5 at 6:30 p.m. in the church
sanctuary. The cost is a $5 donation at the door.
Bob Puffer spent 13 years in
country music. He has appeared
on such national TV shows as HeeHaw and the Joe Franklin Show.
He has also shared billing with
the Oakridge Boys. In September,
1986, Bob entered the full-time
Gospel music ministry. Bob plays
a multitude of instruments including guitar, five-string banjo, violin, mandolin, dobro, Gretch (Chet
Atkins) guitar, ukulele, and flute.
Darleen adds vocals, keyboard,
sax and clarinet.
Bob and Darleen currently
travel extensively throughout
the United States with their
music ministry, performing
between 150 and 200 concerts/services each year.
Their music contains a variety of styles including traditional Gospel, Southern Gospel, Country, Folk and many
humorous songs.
United Methodist Church is
