Housing subsidy application (APL)
HOUSING SUBSIDY (APL) APPLICATION
YOU HAVE TO APPLY BY SEPTEMBER 16th 2016
What is CAF ?
CAF (Caisse d’Allocations Familiales) is a public establishment which gives the housing subsidy if you are eligible. This establishment is the one which decides if you can have
it, and if you can not, ALEGESSEC is not responsible for that.
How can I get the money of my APL if I am eligible ? CAF transfers the money to ALEGESSEC, and once ALEGESSEC receives it, it is deducted from your rent. Please be
aware that the CAF always takes a few months before transferring the first subsidies, and until then you have to pay the whole rent.
Now you are going to apply for housing subsidy on your own on the CAF website. You must absolutely do it on internet. It takes about 15 mn.
To do so, you need to know :
- The address of your room in Cergy
- Your room number
- Your French bank details with A RIB of your French bank account (if you don’t have one, you can’t apply for APL)
- The amount of YOUR income in 2014 if you had any (please do not mention your parent’s income)
If you are ready, go on www.caf.fr
Good luck…!
