The Heroes Night Sat., Oct. 11th
The Hunt County Sheriff’s Office will be hosting the
second annual “Meet the Heroes” night at Boles I.S.D.
beginning at 5:00 p.m. Sheriff Meeks encourages
everyone to come out and meet not only the Deputy’s
present but Officers from Quinlan and West Tawakoni
Police Departments. Also, in attendance will by Cash
Volunteer Fire Department displaying their equipment,
other Volunteer Fire Departments from the area, Air Evac
helicopter service and representatives from the local
military recruiting station.
October is “Breast Cancer Awareness” month and we
are excited that the Mobile Mammography team from Hunt
Regional Hospital District will also be present beginning at
3:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m.
Following this event the Hunt County Sheriff’s
Association and Cash Volunteer Fire Department are
proud to announce the second annual “Cuffs N Ladders”
flag football game at Boles I.S.D. with kickoff set at 6:30
p.m. In further recognition of “Breast Cancer Awareness”
month both groups have engaged in a campaign to “PINK
OUT” the stadium in support of “Breast Cancer Awareness”
in order to increase awareness in Hunt County.
