This is an original painting by Alexandre Renoir, the greatgrandson of Pierre-Auguste Renoir. “African Baobob Tree,” measures
16x20 inches. It is the artist’s first African-themed piece and was
created exclusively for An Evening in the Kalahari. The antique silverscoop wood frame was donated by The Frame Maker.
Born in 1974, Alexandre Renoir grew up surrounded by art and
artists. It was a during a visit to La Jolla that he untapped his own
