These one-piece heat insulation mats from HINDERMANN are
attached to the outside of the vehicle, and in the winter they
insulate very well against cold, and protect against heat in the
summer. Direct sunlight does not get to the windscreen. As the
insulation is outside of the vehicle, condensation on the inside of
the windscreen is avoided. They have the same material quality
and insulation as the Hindermann Thermojacket which has been
established for years. The outside surfaces of the material are
made of weather-resistant and strong PE textiles.
The lightweight, approx. 20 mm internal insulation made of polyester, does not store any moisture. The material is winterproof
and can be rolled up or folded, even in extreme cold. In good
weather, the front flap can be opened and the sun comes in.
LUX 2
For some vehicle models with very high vehicle height, and
windscreens that reach very high up, HINDERMANN has
developed the version LUX-2, which enables comfortable
handling to open and close the front flap (without ladder/step
stool). See photo top right.
The upper edge with a middle bar is adjusted to the body shape
and fits snugly to it.

For this model, HINDERMANN offers a removable screen insert
as an interesting accessory. The screen insert is a sunshade and
visual protection from the outside, but also guarantees an unimpeded view from inside.
Fastening:
For both versions, the fastening to the vehicle is simple:
In the area of the driver‘s door, there is an inside pocket, which
is hung over the edge of the door.
For fastening on the right side of the vehicle, HINDERMANN INSULATION offers two possibilities:
a) Fastening in welt tracks (horizontal and/or vertical) to draw
in the insulation, in the welt tracks in the vehicle, which could
also be at right angles to each other along the side window (see
photo page 9) If you wish, you can also use just one welt track.
Welt tracks are not included in the scope of delivery.
b) Fastening via LOXX press studs which come as standard (content 5 pieces) whose bottom parts can be optionally glued or
screwed on. (See photo page 9)
a) The insulation mat has a textile welt attached along the upper
side, and a separate textile welt with very wide Velcro fastening.
The insulation mat is inserted into the horizontally attached welt
track, the loose welt with Velcro fastening is inserted into the vertical track in such a way, that the insulation mat can be velcroed
on top of it. The advantage of this fastening is a 2-sided leak-tight fastening, furthermore no water/snow can get behind
the mat in the area of the welt track.
b) Each insulation mat includes 5 LOXX press studs.
These press studs can either be glued onto the vehicle (e.g. with
Sikaflex) or screwed on. The advantage of this fastening is that
it is inconspicuous.
TIP: In all cases, the installation of the welt tracks or LOXX press
stud bottom parts should be carried out by your specialist workshop.
3) Velcro on thermo mat.
Fastening with LOXX press studs (variant b):
In addition, each window mat has a Velcro band along the lower
edge, on the inside, to fasten on the „LUX-DUO“ extra module,
even if it is only bought later.
The scope of delivery includes rubber tensioners, 5 LOXX press
studs for the right side and a storage bag made of breathable
TYVEK.

LUX-DUO:
In order to enable effective protection against cold draughts
through the non-insulated engine bay, the wheel houses and
foot well, even in the winter holidays, HINDERMANN developed the LUX-DUO extra module. It is a bottom part, which
can be fastened to the window mat via a Velcro fastening,
even if bought afterwards. It is made of the same material.
The insulation underneath is slightly thinner to save on storage space when the cover ist not in use. In addition, on the
lower edge there is a wind break with integrated eyelets. In
this way the complete driver‘s cab can be effectively protected
against the cold.
The LUX window insulation and the LUX-DUO“ extra module can
also be bought individually afterwards.

HINDERMANN THERMOJACKET
The well known THERMO-JACKET PLUS is made in one piece
and features an intergrated wind-shield which extends to groand
level. In good weather you can open up the front and observe
activities and events outside the vehicle. The fastening is easy,
because the hood is made in one piece and is pulled from the
front over the bow and the front screen up to the edges of the
doors. This guarantees the correct fit as well as theft protection.
External surfaces are made of weatherproofed PE-fabric. The
lightweight isolation doesn’t store dampness (e.g. if water gets
into the jacket it will run out of the bottom edge). Tensioners for
the fastening at the bottom edges of the vehicle and a storing
bag made out breathable TYVEK are included with the delivery.

For partially integrated and alcove vehicles
Benefit from the insulating effect of fully porous HINDERMANN thermal foam with its smooth and durable
surface.
This winter-proof exterior insulating mat is manufactured using a
lightweight tarpaulin with a 5 mm fully porous foamed PVC foam
on the back. The mats remain flexible even in low temperatures.
All edges of the insulating mat are carefully framed with a strap
all the way aroand. The front can be opened. It consists of one
piece and, using pockets, can be easily mounted onto door
edges. There are fastening eyes for anchoring it down, for which
the rubber tensioners are included in delivery.

Keeping the cold and heat outside!
The external insulation mats LUX and LUX-DUO are on the one
hand ideal heat insulation for the winter holiday, and on the other
hand they offer effective protection against the sun in summer.
During wintertime the surface temperature on the inside of the
windscreen is increased due to the external insulation, and
therefore the risk of condensation forming inside the vehicle is
significantly reduced. The light weight, approx. 20 mm thick insulation made of polyester fibres retains the heat in the inside area.
In nice sunny, winter weather, the front area can be opened up,
and the inside area can heat up further due to the suns rays, which
saves the camper heat energy.
In summer use the suns rays don‘t even penetrate the windscreen,
and so the inside area does not heat up so quickly. The window
covers are easily attached by hanging the bags on the slightly
opened doors, and fastened with the bungee cords enclosed.
The door pockets are size adjustable and even fit with a mounted
black out system.

HINDERMANN INSULATING MAT LUX & LUX-DUO
New for Ducato and VW T5/T6 and Sprinter
from 2007/2014 is the „Lux-Duo“ extension
module, which due to an additionally integrated Velcro band along the upper side
of the mat, offers the possibility to connect
to the LUX top part, and therefore creates a
2-part THERMO-JACKET. Once installed, both connected parts can be removed
together, and later reinstalled together.
The base module DUO can be joint to the
window mat using also a Velcro fastener.
Once mounted both interconnected parts
can be removed together and later assembled together again. With the extension module DUO a large outer insulation extending
to the groand will be created and increases living
comfort in the winter holiday. It protects against cold
draughts by the non-insulated engine compartment,
the wheel housing and the cab doors. The material is
identical to the window sheet, however, the insulation of the
„base“ module is somewhat thinner in order to save space while
travelling. Additionally, there is a wind guard with integrated eyelets
on the lower side.
TIP: The extension module can also be purchased individually at a later date,
however, it is adaptable only with part numbers, showing the /2 at the end.

In winter they insulate against cold and in summer they keep the
interior cool. In good weather you can open up the front and
observe activities and events outside the vehicle.
Attachment to the vehicle is very easy, as the mats are made
in one piece and are just hung on the edges of the door and
tensioned (without screws and drilling). The material is a new,
weather resistant Thermo-Foil with aluminised polyester sheets,
which is UV stabilised.

Fastening:
A rubber tensioner on the interior along the top guarantees a tight
seal and allows quick fastening. There are five lashing straps on
the lower edge with plastic eyelets. In general, the windscreen
wipers can be covered or rest on the mat as additional support.
Included in delivery are various rubber tensioners and one rubber
tensioner for the channel along the upper edge. If needed, the
rubber tensioners can be cut to size.
There is also the option of fastening the rubber tensioners using
one pack of LOXX press studs, which can be stuck or screwed on
to the underside as desired.

HINDERMANN INTERNAL INSULATION MAT TRAVEL

VW T5 California
Protects the interior against sun, heat and cold. Stops people
looking in from outside.
Manufactured from HINDERMANN Thermo-Foil, coated
on both sides with an aluminised polyester sheet. The edges
are tightly framed all around. There are pull loops along the
top edges.
The mat is attached by means of large quality suction cups,
which have a high level of holding power. These sit in preassembled clip eyelets, which don’t tear out. The suction cups
with knurled head screws are enclosed loose – not assembled!

The insulation mats for the side windows of the driver’s cab
are designed in a way that the outer contours are clamped in
the door rubbers so that an insulating air cushion is created
between the window cover and the window panes!
The specifications for the VW T6 Living room refer to vehicles

or Shuttle.

Homely cars need a homely interior
insulation!
A new quality in the internal insulation mats!
This 3-piece cab-set is made from a 8 mm foam insulation
and closes tightly with the contours from the windows. It
isolates effective against cold exposure.
The material, PU foam in a sandwich structure, is already
well known from other HINDERMANN products. In the
direction of the living room it exhibits a pleasant, light grey
polyester velour that is coated with an aluminised polyester
sheeting which reflects the sun-rays.
Attachment is easy and quick as usual using suction cups.
These are particularly large with diameters of 40 mm and
have a high level of holding power. The suction cups with
knurled head screws are enclosed loose – not assembled!

Description: This thermal curtain perfectly fits the door opening
of the Ducato Type 250/290 (model from 2007, variant with high
door opening) - universally suitable for most versions and installations of individual vehicle dealers. As shown in the example, the fly
screen door can remain mounted (size 2), even when the sliding
door is closed! The thermal curtain comes with a shoulder-wide
access. The “flexible door” adapts to the shape of the B-pillar in
the edge area, and clips at the bottom and top ensure a tight seal.

Adaptation options: In some cases, for the initial assembly,
it might be necessary to perform some adjustment work, such as
cuts or cutting off protruding material. For this, the thermal curtains in the edge areas can be cut easily, without diminishing the
insulation function, for example in the area of the wall cabinet.
Material: The sandwich structure is composed the same way
as for the thermal curtain for the driver cabin (see page 20). The
aluminised polyester foil does not absorb any moisture, if, for
example, there is rain/snow when the sliding door is open.
Two-part: quick installation with magnets on the
rear doors.
Material:
For both versions, the sandwich structure with 8 mm thick insulations and polyester velour is identical to the material of the
sliding door insulation or the thermal curtains for the driver’s
cab.

Installation of the sliding door insulation: The insulation
is fastened along the top edge and in front of the kitchen block
with a few press studs. A clip fastened with Velcro ensures a tight
seal between the kitchen counter-top and the wall cabinet. The
press studs are pre-mounted, the bottom parts as well as assembly
instructions are part of the delivery scope.
For protection against draughts, HINDERMANN has developed rear door insulations in 2 versions:
- one-part rear door insulation, which can be fastened
inside along the top edge over a two-row press stud panel (if a
wall cabinet is installed, fasten from the outside).
The access to the storage space underneath the bed and the
gas bottle locker can be conveniently accessed by opening 2
zips.
The open area is held by a Velcro connection and the insulation above the bed remains intact.
- two-part rear door insulation fastened with magnets,
which can be attached to and removed from the wing doors in
no time. Both surfaces overlap in the centre.

Thermal curtain for the drivers cabin
Ducato 2007/2014
This U-shaped thermal curtain separates the driver‘s cab from
the dashboard area. It insulates against cold radiation from the
unheated driver‘s cab and protects against loss of heat in the living
area. It has been part of the Hindermann range for many years
and enjoys increasing demand due to its homely atmosphere and
high level of usefulness.
HINDERMANN is now offering the model for the Ducato
2007/2014, Ford Transit 2014 and Sprinter 2007/2014 as
standard with a flap for accessing the radio and ventilation. The
flap comes with a magnetic fastener and fastening button.
If there is no frost outside, and you are in a hurry, you only have
to put up the curtain and slide the clip between the roof liner and
the sun visors. This way, side mounting is not necessary.
The other models are fastened with press studs along the top
edge and on the sides. The press-stud top parts are integrated,
the bottom screw parts are included in the delivery.

Material: The insulation is manufactured from a pleasant looking
material with an approx. 8 mm thick PU foam core in a sandwich
structure. In the direction of the living room it shows a light grey polyester velour and to the outside an aluminised polyester sheeting.
The highlight of these models is the easy attachment: There is a clip
along the top edge which is moved between the roof liner and the
sun visors or laid around the sun visors. Only a few press studs
along the B-pillar ensure a tight seal and hold.

For example, the single module ensures pleasant heat radiation
in the areas: dinette / living room seating / sleeping area/ alcoves / roof hood or, by means of the press stud fastening, even
underneath a table.
The seat module is designed for attachment to the driver’s cab
seats of the Ducato 2007/14, in order to create heat radiation in
the foot and leg area. The element is equipped with a slot opening
to facilitate operating the seat adjustment.
The radiant heat can achieve a heat of up to 37 °C. In case of
incorrect application (see safety instructions) the integrated temperature sensor automatically switches off at a temperature of 65
°C, ensuring product safety. Power connection via the external
power supply by means of the standard 24 V table power pack
which is included in scope of delivery.

way this dividing mat insulates against cold draughts and heat
loss in the area of the foot.

• Specially developed for Ducato 2007/2014 for the foot
well area below the dashboard and the driver’s cabin floor
between the seats. Thanks to the three-dimensional trough
shape, the insulation closes tightly in the area of the driver’s

• The Ford and Sprinter versions are trough shaped, however,
they do not have a cover between the seats.
Safety instructions:
* These mobile heating elements produce radiant heat and are
not suitable for heating up the room temperature.
* The heating elements may not be used in partial areas as an
electric blanket (to pre-heat a bed) or as a seat heater!
* The heating elements must be able to freely radiate heat and
may never be covered, as otherwise the accumulated heat will
overheat the heat conductors which will result in a fire hazard!
* The elements may only be turned on with the table power pack
supplied by HINDERMANN.

The special feature of this newly developed insulation mat is the side
tight closure between the window edge and the vehicle. It is pulled
in to a welt track above the window. Comes with integrated LOXX
press studs for attachment along the underside, including loose
adhesive bottom parts.
The mat can be conveniently rolled up and fastened with 2 tensioning straps (50 cm each, with metal clip). The helios grey exterior
insulation mat is manufactured from a 5mm thick and fully porous
winter-proof PVC foam. The mat remains flexible, even in very cold
weather. Along the top side is a textile grip-strip, the other 3 edges
of the insulation mat are trimmed with tape.
Two versions are available: For attached windows (see photo above)
and built-in windows (see photo Withte). For ASSEMBLY we recommend our silver anodised aluminium special welt track.

thermal curtains, is now also available as a DIY kit for do-ityourself assembly. You can use it to create e.g. window covers,

The „HINDERMANN MOSQUITO CURTAINS“ are designed to
precisely fit the vehicle models listed in our item list.
Furthermore, we strived for them to fit the various components
of the individual vehicle suppliers as universally as possible. Of
course, this cannot be achieved for every vehicle development,
and so it will be necessary in individual cases to make slight adjustments during assembly (such as trimming slots or protruding
material).
The curtain can be easily cut, for example for incisions in the area
of the wall cabinet, as the Velcro strap is welded in a special process and no threads can be severed. On a solid wall cupboard,
the curtain can be shortened along the upper Velcro strip and it
finds a use for the second parallel Velcro strip.

each pack.

THERMAL CURTAIN.The material is a close meshed, flame retardant polyester webbing with very good outward visibility and good
air circulation in the pleasant colour of grey. It shields against up
to 65% of sunlight and greatly reduces heat generation inside
the vehicle.

Impressive Advantages
• 4 different universal basic shapes for caravans, camper
vans and partially integrated camper vans enable a
proper fit for your vehicle. For this please inform us of the
largest circumference of your vehicle, taking into account
all protrusions, e.g. bicycle rack.
• The material effectively doesn’t rub on glas and paint. To
avoid friction with the bodywork and glass a very secure
and sturdy fastening system is included in the delivery.
Therefore the scope of delivery of every protective cover
contains a large quantity of webbing belts as standard,
which are simply inserted into the eyes available.
• 4 covered zips on the right hand and left hand side of the
vehicle enable door access into your vehicle and make it
easier to pull over.
• Pulling over is possible with 2 people, preferably with
long telescopic rods (e.g. Gardena).
• In the front and rear area there are tensioning laces with
numerous eyes so that the hood can be properly adjusted
to your vehicle.
• One roll of window protection cover is delivered as standard with every cover (50 cm wide, 30 meters, nonadhesive).
• As long as vehicle washed beforehand, no abrasion to
paintwork.
• Sensible accessories such as cushion or gable profile are
also available.

Gable sections for camper vans and caravans help make the
draining away of water from your protective cover more easy and
prevent / reduce possible puddles. They are suited to each roof
of your caravan or camper van and can also be subsequently
used for previously available Hindermann protective covers. The
gable height of approx. 26 cm is higher than the roof window and
antenna. The 2-part gable section with dovetail joint (precision
component cut using water jet) comprises of solid and weather
resistant PE foam which does not absorb any water. It is assembled
in the central section and always stabilised with 4 foot supports.
Its positioning and the number of spacing sections is affected as
required. Contents: 2 units (may only be supplied as pairs, also
useable for roof protection cover).

HINDERMANN ROOF PROTECTION COVER
universal for camper vans and caravans
The breathable roof protection covers are universally conceived
for use on a caravan or mobile home. They have an eyelet strip
all aroand, so that the protective cover can be tensioned exactly
according to your needs, with the standard belt system.
For caravan owners, we have also integrated a textile welt on the
right lengthwise side, so that the cover can be pulled onto the
awning rail, and the wind has no chance.
The eyelets used have integrated reinforcement and an anderlying
protective strip, so that the eyelets do not come into contact with
the vehicle.
Due to the freely selectable length, you can decide yourself
whether you only want to protect the roof area of your vehicle,
or also the front and/or rear area.
(Safety instructions: conceived for stationery vehicles, therefore
not suitable for driving or living operation.)
The belt tensioner is included in the standard scope of delivery!
No metal construction required.

Rear door jacket for box wagon Ducato

The installed rear door jacket protects against any draughts
coming through the cracks of the door, especially in the sleeping
area. It is securely fastened to the vehicle with a stable, 50mm
wide belt strap, which is adjustable and has a snap closure.
The belt strap is guided through stitched tunnel loops, and is
therefore secured against slipping. In addition, the rear door jacket
has 2 eyelet strips, which can be tensioned to the wheel arches,
with the two rubber tensioners included in the scope of delivery.

The new „WINTERTIME“ range for HINDERMANN PROTECTIVE
COVERS and HINDERMANN ROOF COVERS is made from a
breathable 3-layer SFS-3 NONWOVEN material, and stands out
due to a good tensile strength and low weight.
ASSEMBLY
For a good fit for your vehicle type, you can choose from 4 basic
shapes, which universally fit various vehicle models. In addition,
rectangular roof protection covers are available.
Each protective cover has 4 zips which (when open) facilitate
covering and removal, and enable access to the entrance door
and/or storage boxes on both sides of the vehicle.
All protective covers have an eyelet strip and tensioning straps on
the front and rear side.
The roof protection covers have triangular straps all around for
tensioning.
For camper vans alone, there are 3 basic shapes which are
suitable for the various contours, construction widths and

Installation is easy: first of all the zip is opened, the multi-way

protective covers for roof hoods protect the sensitive plastic glass
against scratches, dirt and tree resin. The cover has a draw string

secure hold. For aerodynamically shaped glass domes the cover
is 3 dimensional.
Made of weather resistant flexible material with high impact

Protect your roof hood against heat loss, hail damage
and ageing due to UV rays.
The thermo insulation of this special cover consists of an approx.
4mm fully porous, foamed PVC foam, and a 18mm thick,
heat insulating polyester wadding. Apart from the insulating
characteristic, it also insulates against noise development during
a rain shower.
The inside surface which comes into contact with the window
glass, consists of the particularly gentle and soft Tyvek material.
The outer surface consists of a grey artificial leather. The cover
can be attached by pulling it over; on the lower edge of the cover
there is an elastic strap all around, which ensures a firm hold,
together with the Velcro loops in the 4 corners (before installation,
the roof window should be cleaned). The forced venting remains
unimpeded for safety reasons.
Safety instructions: The cover must be removed before travel.

The HINDERMANN FLOOR SKIRTS offer more living comfort
under the awning. They serve as wind protection as well as
screen for the caravan. They are manufactured in high quality
„winter-proof tarpaulin material“ with welded on weatherstrip as
well as soft „vinyl sheeting with linen finish“ and welded on PVC
welts each in heights of 50 cm and 75 cm and lengths of one
to seven metres. The wheel housing covers are always 150 cm
long. The highly resistant, welded and rust-proof PVC eyelets
guarantee a durable fastening.
The floor skirts made from light grey tarpaulin material with end
definition 4440 are compatible with the HINDERMANN WHEEL
HOUSING COVERS, FIT COVERS, CARAVAN COMPARTMENTS, FLOOR SKIRTS WITH LOWERED DOOR ENTRANCE
as well as HINDERMANN ORGANISER SKIRTS.

Protects seats in the living area from draughts and you from
getting cold feet. The wind break is made from winter-proof
tarpaulin material in our “bi-colour” quality (this means that
you can decide on the spot whether you want to mount the light
grey or middle grey as the visible surface) and it is fastened with
LOXX press studs, which are supplied in ample quantity with the
delivery. You can either mount them with screw-in or adhesive
bottom plates. Mark the fastening points on the vehicle,
stick on the bottom plates (make sure to keep a horizontal
position), hold the wind break against it and mark the
press-stud points exactly on the rear of the plate. Pierce holes
using punch pliers in the points, attach the LOXX press studs
into the wind break and attach to the vehicle. Cut off any protruding part with scissors. At the door entrance area, the skirt
can be cut out with scissors. Cut the edges round, to prevent
them from tearing.

This new sliding door organizer, all around sold in fashionable
colour, may not be missing on any trip. This new accessory was
developed by HINDERMANN specifically for the friends of vans.
The organizer can be fixed with magnets outside at the sliding
door directly in handle length of the seat; for driving you can fix
the organiser inside the vehicle thanks of press-studs.
So everything can stay in it‘s pocket, you only change the position
according to your wishes.

in the 2 pockets. Each organizer has 4 or 5 tabs with welded

product series is made out of a particularly strong NONWOVEN
fabric with strengthened intermediate floors. The fixing takes part
by using loops with strong velcro.

surfaces are made in light grey and the reinforced bottoms in
