Fluid Transfer Solutions
Hydrasun offers customers fluid transfer
solutions ranging from standard hose
assemblies through to more exotic products to
meet client-specific requirements.
With an extensive product inventory and
close working relationships with leading
industry manufacturers Hydrasun can provide
outstanding turnaround times. This is backed
up by a specialist in-house manufacturing
capability which produces bespoke fittings
and couplings, and a customer support team
to advise on the most appropriate products
and services.
Additionally, through a fleet of mobile units and
containerised workshops, we provide a Field
Support service delivering onsite assembly and
maintenance support to customers whenever
and wherever they require it.
Umbilicals & Subsea Connectors
Hydrasun has developed its manufacturing
capabilities to produce a wide range of
products for a variety of subsea and topside
applications. Such products include high
integrity protected hoses through to
multi-line hydraulic and electro-hydraulic
jumper bundles.
From a custom-built extrusion and umbilical
facility Hydrasun delivers complete umbilical
solutions from production through to end
connection termination complete with stabplate integration, pressure testing, flushing and
the associated documentation packages.
With our ability to draw from an extensive
stockholding of specialist hydraulic control
line hoses and the in-house capability to
manufacture bespoke or specialist end
connections, Hydrasun can fulfil customer
requirements to the highest specification in
short lead-times and uniquely, in short lengths.
Integrity Management
As industry focus continues to increase on the
environmental impact of leakage and loss of
containment, companies need to assure the
technical integrity and reliability of their assets.
Hydrasun works closely with customers
and leading industry bodies, and is now
at the forefront in the development of best
practice technical guidelines for the integrity
management of flexible hose assemblies and
small bore tubing.
Already successfully implemented for
major operators and contractors in the
oil & gas, marine and defence industries
worldwide Hydrasun’s risk-based integrity
management model considers each stage of
the hose management process from design
and specification through to supply and
installation. It also includes the provision of
risk classification, hose registers, databases,
inspection regimes and guides to charting the
service life of flexible hose assemblies and
small bore tubing.

Instrumentation & Process Control
From specification to manufacture, assembly
and supply, Hydrasun provides an integrated
service across key instrumentation disciplines
including pressure, temperature, flow, level and
isolation/control systems.
Products can be supplied pre-assembled,
integrated into a control panel or as a
populated enclosure from stock. Depending
on customer specification, bespoke
instrumentation and process control solutions
can also be specially manufactured.
By involving Hydrasun early in the project design
phase we can aid customers by minimising
interfaces, reducing tubing and instrumentation
requirements and by providing innovative
cost-effective solutions. We can also provide
engineering support for key package vendors.
Hydraulic Power & Control
Over the years Hydrasun has extended its
product and service offering. However, it
has never deviated from providing premier
products and solutions with a particular focus
on safety, quality, technical integrity, reliability
and environmental awareness.
Hydrasun’s Hydraulic Power & Control
solutions offers a full turnkey capability
encompassing design, procurement, supply,
installation, testing and commissioning of
hydraulic control systems and solutions,
primarily for subsea wellheads and production
systems. We also have the capability to design
and manufacture flushing and pressure testing
rigs for testing and commissioning subsea
production and control systems.
The Hydraulic team support a comprehensive
range of premier products, including hydraulic
filtration and condition-monitoring equipment,
hydraulic pumps and motors, valves, cylinders,
rotary actuators and accumulators, process
filtration and separation products i.e. nitrogen
generators, RO water-makers and fuel, oil and
air filtration.
Engineering & Technical Support
The Engineering team within Hydrasun
provides a comprehensive and dedicated
service covering all aspects of fluid transfer
and process control instrumentation. This
includes application advice, performance
review and recommendations, as well as
specialised product development.
We also provide tailored programmes of
training courses to meet customers’ specific
needs. These courses can range from hose
storage and handling awareness through to
hose assembly in support of hose integrity
management strategies.
Furthermore, the Hydrasun Field Support
service provides dedicated onsite technical
and operational support through the
deployment of containerised workshops.
These mobile units carry a selection of stock
products and are fully fitted with the latest hose
assembly equipment, ensuring our technicians
provide a rapid response service during critical
activities.

Our Facilities
Innovation
Hydrasun has recently invested in excess
of £12million in developing its new Group
headquarters, along with state-of-the-art
engineering, production, manufacturing,
training and warehousing facilities in Aberdeen.
This investment underlines our drive to further
develop the Hydrasun product and service
provision and continue to grow the company.
As well as ensuring excellent customer service,
a central theme for Hydrasun has been to
successfully deliver practical customer-focused
innovation in our product and service offerings.
We have taken the time in planning and
building this new facility to ensure that we have
everything in place to currently meet the needs
of our customers and to enable us to meet
their future demands.
We also have operational bases and facilities in
Edinburgh, Glasgow, Rosyth and Teesside and
internationally in The Netherlands, Azerbaijan,
Kazakhstan, West Africa, Brazil and the Middle
East.
Hydrasun also has sales offices and strategic
partners in Houston, Gulf of Mexico and

50 countries worldwide.
