Panasonic Solutions Company (PSC), unit of Panasonic Corporation of North America, is pleased to
announce the introduction of our new 1080p professional plasma displays designed exclusively for the
commercial market – our new 20 Series TH-65PF20U and TH-58PF20U Full HD Plasmas. These models
share the superior image quality and world-class support of our 12-Series 1080p versions with some
additional enhancements.

New Flexible SLOT 2.0 Architecture
The new PF20 series panels are our most versatile yet with a combination of fixed terminal inputs as well as a
function slot to accommodate plug in modules for additional functionality. Fixed inputs now include:





HDMI
DVI-D
Component Video (with audio)
Composite Video (with audio)
PC input (D-sub 15)
These panels can be controlled remotely by a serial RS-232 connection or by new fixed LAN control port,
enabling control and status monitoring over an existing network. The PJLink industry standard protocol is also
supported so these panels can be easily integrated to environments that also use projectors such as
conference rooms, lecture halls, and auditoriums. See the attached specification sheet for a layout of the fixed
terminal inputs.
With the change to SLOT 2.0, some of the existing terminal boards and modules are not compatible
with the PF20 series. See the following pages and attached chart for compatibility of these and other
accessories.
Shipments of these models are scheduled to begin in October 2010.
With the introduction of these models, the TH-58PF12UK and TH65PF12UK will be discontinued and are no
longer available for purchase.
