Class—Therapeutic Nursery
This is a specialized program for two to three year olds
with developmental delays. We feel strongly that this
kind of early identification and timely intervention promotes optimal growth. A Special Education Teacher,
Occupational Therapist, Speech/Language Pathologist,
and a Child Development Specialist administer the class.
The curriculum focuses on acquiring and using language
in a social setting. Incorporated into the program are
opportunities for unstructured play, as well as structured

Therapeutic Nursery
This is a developmental, communication based
parent/child program for intellegent preschool children
ages 3-5 with developmental problems, including communication and learning disorders, ADD, high functioning autism, PDD and Asperger’s syndrome. Most children
are referred to the Therapeutic Nursery because they
are experiencing delayed language acquisition. Children
who fail to acquire age-appropriate language may also
exhibit social, emotional, or behavioral difficulties that
can impede their ability to interact appropriately with
other children and adults. Early identification and timely
intervention are essential for promoting optimal growth
in children with developmental delays. Approved NJDOE
private preschool for the handicapped and receiving
