It has been developed in co-edition with the Pierre Bergé - Yves Saint Laurent Foundation,
to celebrate 40 years of glamorous creation. Yves Saint Laurent is one of the most
famous fashion designer and we believe this book has a huge potential.
The Foundation is in charge of keeping and maintaining Yves Saint Laurent’s Patrimony.
It opened its archives to our Art Director, who could choose within all Yves Saint
Laurent’s original drawings and sketches to make this book appealing both to children
and to adults interested in Fashion, luxury and design.

The books is divided in three chapters:
1. Extraordinary Travels:
Travels this chapter shows the inspiration that Yves Saint
Laurent found in his worldwide trips to Spain, Morocco, Japan, Russia etc…
2. A wink at Art : A tribute to the great artists that inspired him, Picasso, Warhol,
Matisse…
3. In the Limelight : The last chapter is dedicated to the cinema, theatre and
music
The book is 40 pages long. Our version is bilingual French/English (but distributed
in France only) and is published in two sizes:
