JUNE 2016 June is a Time for Celebration
JUNE 2016
June is a
Time for Celebration
There is much cause for jubilation as summer
begins here at PBS39. For starters, our Sixth
Annual BrewFest, featuring 40+ breweries and
more than 100 craft beers, kicks the month off
at Coca-Cola Park on Saturday, June 4th. If you
don’t have your tickets yet, there might still be
time. Head over to wlvt.org/events, but be
advised that they’ve sold out in advance in
each of the past two years.
June also marks the return of special
programming, which highlights our schedule
from June 4th - 19th. Meanwhile, PBS39’s
Local Hour will continue to showcase the
people, places, and issues that matter to you
every Tuesday night at 7:00pm, and we will
enjoy the Season 3 premiere of Endeavour on
MASTERPIECE, Wednesday, June 22nd at
8:00pm.
Finally, the PPL Public Media Center at PBS39
will play host to a pair of can’t-miss events this
month. Wednesday, June 15th marks the return
of Colm Keegan and Laura Durrant to our
studio. The duo will be performing an intimate
acoustic set. Tickets can be found at
wlvt.org/events.
Then, on Saturday, June 25th, PBS39 is thrilled
to be participating in the City of Bethlehem’s
275th Anniversary Celebration at SteelStacks.
The day’s festivities begin at 11:00am, and will
be highlighted by the public premiere of the
PBS39 original production, Second to None:
The Liberty High School Grenadier Band. We’ll
also have other fun surprises throughout the
day. Check back at wlvt.org for the latest.
