CYLINDERS
MAGNETIC
Produced from high quality steel with fully hardened bearers and sintered
magnets for maximum hold, all of our cylinders are supplied with high precision
gears.
PRINTING
Made from high quality steel or aluminium alloys, and precision machined using
CNC technology, our printing cylinders can be supplied in either Standard or
Hardened quality.
ROTARY DIES
Produced from high quality steel, our rotary dies can be supplied in either
Standard or Hardened quality according to the material being used and length of
the print run.
HOT STAMPING
Made from brass or steel and engraved on state-of-the-art CNC machines, our
hot stamping cylinders offer unrivalled quality and precision of register.
SHEETERS
Designed to sheet, slit and perforate, our cylinders are made from high quality
steel and come supplied with high precision gears and fully hardened bearers as
standard. The blades and cutting rings are available for kiss cut, full cut, perforations and can be personalized according to your needs.

Magnetic Flat Bases allow a precision cutting by using flexible dies. These bases
are used in flat die-cutting, and they are the perfect alternative to traditional flat
dies. They allow quickly job changes, extreme precision in die-cutting, longer life
of the die, more complex die configurations and multilevel cuttings with a perfect
finish. Also it can be used for Embossing and Debossing dies. Any shape profile,
thickness and size can be produced to fit to any machine.

Dies from this range are differentiated from the other series by the
presence of holes which are distributed across the plate, allowing the
suction or air expulsion of waste material which results from die
cutting. These dies require the use of a specially designed magnetic
cylinder with an air system incorporated.
This range of dies offers the possibility to add texture to materials. The
die is placed on the magnetic cylinder and as the material passes
through the machine, the design is pressed into the material
(debossed), offering complete personalisation of the material. Cutting
lines can also be added to the die allowing both cutting and texturing at
the same time. Extremely fine detail can be achieved, with lines as
small as 0.1mm being marked in the material.

A.08
OCS dies offer the possibility to die cut in-line with Offset machines.
The main advantage of using this type of die is the possibility to die cut
at the same time as printing.

HARD
The Hard series of dies has been developed, using different hardening processes, in order to achieve a longer die life, particularly for full cut projects, thermal
materials, abrasive plastics and special adhesives such as hotmelt.
Long Die Life
This series is specially designed for die cutting thick materials.
Example applications for this type of die include Rfid Labels, Multipage
“Booklets”, Cardboards, adhesive Foams or multilayer Technical
Materials for electronics. ALTIUS dies are divided into 4 categories
according to the height of the cutting edge:

We have resources for the waste treatment.
We use systems for the purification and
obtaining of discharges and 'zero' emissions.
Standard dies are made using the best materials on the market,
ensuring high precision (+/-0.003 mm max.), flexibility and wear
resistance. This series includes dies with cutting heights between
0.250 mm and 0.500 mm, with 0.440 mm and 0.480 mm being the
most common heights for the self-adhesive label market.

FLEXIBLE DIES
Our objective is to ensure complete customer satisfaction, as such, all of our
efforts are directed towards providing a quick and personal service, 24 hour
delivery and to continue with the development of new products that add value
for our customers.
This series also includes dies to be used on special heated magnetic
cylinders to perform hot stamping, either smooth or with multiple levels
to create texture.
ENDURO
A new Enduro plasma treatment has been added to our range of flexible die
products. The application of this special coating dramatically improves the life
of the die by increasing the hardness, wear resistance and by reducing the
friction coefficient.
Titanium Treatment
ANTI-TACK
Non-stick Coating
The Anti-Tack treatment applies a non-stick coating to the surface of the
flexible die which repels any type of dirt, adhesive or ink residue. This new
treatment allows improved speed and quality of waste removal and drastically
reduces time spent cleaning the plates.
