Switzer’s Ultimate Street Edition (USE) GTR starts off as a 545 hp R35
GTR fresh from Nissan, which – on its own – is a pretty capable
sports car. Switzer then removes the engine, transmission, and more
before upgrading and re-engineering virtually every aspect of the
car’s performance. The horsepower output of the Switzer-balanced
and blueprinted 3.8L twin-turbo V6 engine is nearly doubled to deliver
more than 1000 hp on “premium” pump gasoline.
The GTR’s transmission is replaced with a Shepherd Transmissions
6-speed that is fully rebuilt and strengthened to handle the USE’s
extra power output.

accelerates. If you want more, the optional Club Sport PKG with big
brake rotors and adjustable suspension will take the USE’s trackday
performance from extraordinary to extreme!

The Ultimate Street Edition is the next evolution of cars like the E900
and R900 Switzer GTRs that have been tearing up events across the
country for years. With 100 less horsepower, a Switzer R900 GTR set
the IMRA standing-mile record in 2011 at more than 208 mph ... far in
excess of the factory GTR’s top speed - and it was still going!
With the USE GTR’s Switzer-blueprinted engine and the extra stability
afforded by the standard Switzer Signature series wheels, highperformance tires, and lowering springs, you’ll be able to hit 200 mph
with ease ... perfect, if your everyday commute includes long
stretches of Germany’s Autobahn!

Unsprung weight is the enemy of handling, and the reinforced steel
sidewalls of the factory GTR’s “run-flat” tires aren’t doing your spine
any favors on rough roads, either! The USE GTR reduces unsprung
weight by replacing the factory wheels with Switzer Signature series
forged aluminum performance wheels made from aircraft-grade
aluminum and wrapped in sticky, high-performance tires that provide
better traction than the run-flats.
Combined, these modifications enable Switzer’s Ultimate Street
Edition cars to corner harder than the stock GTR, while delivering a
ride that’s actually smoother and softer than stock.
The fact that Switzer’s Signature series wheels look amazing and are
available in a wide range of custom finishes? That’s a bonus.

Nissan’s R35 GTR is one hot ride as it is, but Switzer’s Ultimate Street
Edition GTR? That’s in a different league, and it deserves to be set
apart from the rest.
To give the USE that “Ultimate Street” look, Switzer fits a set of
Switzer Signature series 20” wheels and high-performance springs
that lower the car about half an inch. Just enough, in other words, to
make the Ultimate Street Edition stand out from the crowd, without
sticking out like a sore thumb.
Switzer Signature series wheels are available in 3 styles and 3
standard finishes, with optional custom finishes available on request.

Switzer’s Ultimate Street Edition doesn’t sound like a standard GTR
fresh off the showroom floor ... but it doesn’t sound like the neighbor
kid’s coffee-can “JDM” compact, either. Thanks to Switzer’s latest
SS90 performance exhaust, the USE has a deep and throaty rumble
at idle that transforms into the screaming howl of an F14’s
afterburners at WOT and triple-digit speeds.
The Switzer SS90 exhaust features a fine-wire finish of 304 stainless
steel to ensure that the exhaust looks newer, longer, and the “black
chrome” exhaust tips help prevent the discoloring that is common to
high-powered turbo cars.
