UPCOMING EVENTS
December 15 Kemps Seafood House
Spouses / Significant Others Night
AAA will be presenting a program about travel and vacation packages.
There will be a 50 / 50 Holiday Raffle and door prizes for the ladies. We are
supporting a canned food drive so please bring canned goods to the
meeting. See the second page of the newsletter for information about
Kemps. Social starts at 6:30 PM, dinner served at 7:00 PM.
January 19 Kemps Seafood House
Our program in January will be on LEED construction.
February 16 Kemps Seafood House
Our February program will be presented by a noted sports statistician.
March 16 Kemps Seafood House
NC State Building Commission Board Member Marshall Gurley will be
discussing his role at the NC State Building Commission and will be
discussing issues impacting our state’s construction industry. Marshall
Gurley is the CEO of Centurion Construction Company, Inc. and a past
PCEA National President and a past PCEA Triangle Chapter 3 President.

Health and Happiness
Steve Newbern received news that his son in law Corporal Benjamin Jones serving in the United
States Marine Corps was air medevac transported from Afghanistan to a medical facility in
Ramstein Germany to undergo surgery for a non-combat related injury. Benjamin has previously
served a tour of duty in Iraq before his current tour of duty in Afghanistan. Benjamin will be air
transported back to the United States by December 23. Keep Steve and his family in your thoughts
and prayers.
New Membership Meeting Location
Our August 18 membership meeting will be held at our new location Kemp’s Seafood House
located at 115 Page Point Circle in Durham at HWY 70 and Page Rd. We held our first meeting
there in June and they have provided us with a large private meeting room at a fraction of the cost
of the RTP Hilton. They had excellent menu selections and ample food portions.
The New PCEA Triangle Chapter 3 Website
We are working to get our new website operational within the next few weeks. We are in the
process of uploading our roster and we will be sending out more information as our website
becomes operational.

The Triangle Chapter still has key unfilled officers positions for the following:
