Earth Day Houston, developed by Air Alliance Houston, is the Houston area’s premier
celebration of our planet at Discovery Green.
• The FREE one-day celebration will focus on the merits of mindful, sustainable
living while educating and encouraging Houstonians to do their part to preserve,
conserve and enhance our city and the Earth.
• Earth Day Houston showcases more than 30 green non-profits, each educating
visitors on how they can make Houston greener.
• EDH features interactive environmental awareness activities highlighting land, air,
water, sustainability, healthy living and wildlife and habitat, and includes a Green Expo,
Eco Landscape Zone and a Farmers Market in support of locally-grown produce, plus
kids’ activities throughout the day.
• Proceeds benefit Air Alliance Houston, a local environmental non-profit dedicated to
educating adults and children in the Houston region about air quality issues.
