FFG FEELER at 2013 TIMTOS - A Marvelous Presentation
Grand Stand
At
TIMTOS
2013,
FFG
assembled
her
Taiwanese and international brands for a great
presentation in a booth space up to 1170m2, 17
exhibits in total, which made FFG the biggest
ever exhibitor in TIMTOS history. Apart from
the 5
major Taiwanese brands
LEADWELL,
SANCO,
FEELER,
EQUIPTOP
and
ECOCA, WAIDA-FEELER, the high-tech Japan
joint venture company, was also included. FFG
was the only local exhibitor who showcased
Japanese machine and aerospace parts.
The brands had different themes such as FEELER for automotive & automation, LEADWELL for
medical equipment, SANCO for large parts machining, EQUIPTOP for high precision grinding, ECOCA for
ICT technology. A complete and comprehensive product lineup – machining center and lathe, compact to
enormous, specializing to multiple tasks - to meet various metal machining requirement.

Highlighted Exhibits
(1) U-600 5-axis VMC
Intelligent machining function is the main focus
of this model. It is designed with CAD/CAM
technologies for optimal structure while
ergonomic and aesthetic features are also
considered and realized in the design. U-600 is
the right machine tool for industries such as
mold making, medical, aerospace and aviation.
(2) TC-20α drilling and tapping center
This has been developed with analysis of electro
mechanic integration, featuring high structural
response. Maximum acceleration reaches 1.2g,
and up to 1µm accuracy at Jerk 170 m/s3 . With
such outstanding performance, the TC-20α
provides the industry of 3C electronic products
with an effective and affordable manufacturing
solution.
(3) EH-320APC compact HMC
The compact design takes up minimum footprint;
however, it employs twin ball screws on the Y
axis for powerful and stable drive that enables
high speed movement, suitable for automotive
and 3C electronic products.
(4) VMP-23APC VMC
Powerful HMI human-machine interface, fast point-to-point positioning and auto pallet change. Suitable for
industries such as automotive and 3C electronic products.
(5) FMH-500 HMC
The FMH-500 horizontal machining center works with 6 changeable working pallets, auto storage system
and transporting cart, designed for FMS (Flexible Manufacturing System).
(6) FT-250SY boxway TC –
Its slant-bed type, boxway structure is mounted with BMT65 turret, virtual Y axis and double spindles to
provide turning-and-milling, multi-tasking function.

Predominant Exposure
FFG captured viewer’s gaze not just with tremendous stand but also with extensive advertisement all over the
show ground. As the main official AD sponsor, FFG put up images in items such as exclusive LED display at 2
accesses, giant posters outside of NANGANG Hal, lampposts, 100-meter long banner at front gate, shuttle
buses and so on. These efforts formed all-over exposure.
In “Machine Tools Industry Awards for Excellence in Research and Innovation”, which was held during
TIMTOS, 4 FFG machines were nominated in 3 categories of NC machining center, NC lathe and machine
tools. 3 out of the 4 machines were awarded at the end. FEELER U-600 the 5-axis vertical machining center
won this award for ergonomic design in structure and cover layout, user-friendly operation, one-piece column
for higher stability, anti-chatter and bump-prevention software. The U-600 features intelligent machining and
enhanced value.
Feat to Be Reached in the Future
Our goal is to become the No.1 machine tool manufacturer in the world. To achieve it, we had established a
R&D center in Taiwan, integrating and introducing technologies from FFG overseas subsidiaries while in the
meantime utilizing industrial, academic and state-owned resources to develop new, key technologies for
machine tools.
This is the basis for middle- and high-end products.

Global Agent Conference & Dinner Party
TIMTOS is one of the important events of the
machine tool industry in the world. FEELER had
invited over 20 agents to join the global agent
conference and dinner party along with this great
exhibition. On the agent’s day all agents shared their
marketing experiences and the advantages gained by
working
with
FEELER.
FEELER
launched
presentations such as new products introduction,
factory tour, the recent turn-key case and the
improvement results of FNPS.
We presented our latest machines: the economic 5
axis model U-600, 3C industry oriented the TC-20α,
the EH-320apc with increased efficiency and compact
minimized design, up scaled VMP-23apc, the model
for heavy duty turning - FVT-1000, the rigid boxway
model - FT-250SY, and the FMS line structured with
horizontal machining center FMH-500 and multiple
pallet change system. On the aspect of production
management, we showed the plan and outcome of
FNPS the lean production. Above all reveals that
FEELER not only improves on production but also
quality and effect. The latest turn-key project in 2012 ,
one of the great results in the recent, involves 2
processing lines fabricated with 12 VMP-23 and 4
FTC-350MC.
FEELER has started on the cooperation with FFG Europe for cooperative production and technology
introduction. Through this cooperation, high quality will be able to be realized at more affordable costs.
Furthermore, this will bring FEELER new competitiveness.

New Member of FFG – PARAGON, the famous manufacturer of Quality Cylindrical Grinders
FFG has invested in a big grinder-making brand,
PARAGON,
in
early
February.
PARAGON
Machinery Co., Ltd, established in 1968, had been
devoted to the multi-purpose and high precise
machine to provide clients with multi choices and
service. Starting by producing traditional small
Centerless Grinder in early days, has evolved today as

FFG RANK World No.2 at EMO 2013
EMO Hannover is going to take place this September
which FFG had applied an enormous 2760m2 booth
space, which places FFG the largest No.2 exhibitor
in the world at the show.
This grand scale demonstrates FFG ambition. In EMO
FFG employs space as much as 1.7 times larger than
that of EMO 2011, only secondary to the local
German exhibitor who employs a whole hall. FFG
Europe will be co-exhibit in this grand stand,
showcasing more high-end technologies which boost
FFG brand image.

FFG Troops into F team for FNPS Development
This March, President Chu announced establishment
of the ”F-team”, which conprises of machine tool
manufactures as well as parts & components suppliers
across the straight. Such strategic alliance will bring
benefits of reduced costs and increased producticity.
There are 7 machine tool manufactures, including
FEELER, LEADWELL, EQUIPTOP, SANCO in
Taiwan and HangZhou Good Friend, HangZhou
Leadwell, HangZhou Ever Friend in China. 14

Facing the keen competition from Japan and Korea, it’s a necessary and sensible tatics for Taiwan to compete

Chairman Chu indicated that FFG has the advantages of wide spreading production systems and marketing
channels across the straight. The implement of lean produciton system will futher strenghten productivity,
efficiency and quality while reducing inventory. Such improvement is where the competitivness lies.
