Reunion Weekends in Bournemouth & Wales
We have had two very successful
Reunion breaks and thank you to all
of you who joined us. The staff who
accompanied the tours reported that
apart from the weather in Wales, they felt
everyone had a great time, we think the
drivers cheeky performance – One Night
Only played a part in that! It was lovely
to see so many loyal customers and some
new faces too.
Grand Reunion 2017
We announced our Grand
Reunion in sunny Torquay in
February 2017 and we have
received an amazing amount
of bookings and interest, thank
you to all who have booked.
Gillian, our new Product
Manager recently visited lovely
Torquay on the beautiful
English Riviera and popped
in on the TLH Resort. What
an extraordinary place this is!
The centrally located complex
ingeniously links four quality
hotels with impressive leisure
and entertainment facilities.
With the hope of some decent
weather (well, it can’t be worse
than this year’s weather in
Wales!), we are extremely
excited that the TLH Resort
is the venue for our 2017
Grand Reunion and it
promises to be bigger and
better than ever. There
is so much to do at TLH
that you can be sure of an
action packed weekend.
There is a full schedule of
activities which change
daily – current examples
include fitness classes,
craft sessions, line dancing,
tournaments and quizzes.
Then there is the nightly
entertainment in the
Starlight Lounge with live
music, comedians, dancing
and shows performed by
the in-house team. All
this before you have even
stepped outside the resort
to enjoy the iconic palm
trees, impressive marina
and the amazing sea
views across the bay. As
you know we are open for
bookings and we really
do hope to see you all
there – we can’t wait! We
nearly forgot to mention
that there will be a brand
new ‘Taste of West Country’
tour based at the TLH
Resort in 2017 packed full
of luscious local delights
such as cider and cheese
tasting and an indulgent

The Poppies at Lincoln Castle - May to September

Lincoln Castle is the second venue to present Poppies: Wave
by artist Paul Cummins and designer Tom Piper. The breath
taking sculpture, a sweeping arch of bright red poppy heads
suspended on towering stalks, was originally seen at the
Tower of London as part of the installation Blood Swept
Lands and Seas of Red. Lincolnshire has many strong ties
with landmark events in World War One, when Lincoln
Castle was used by the Lincolnshire Regiment for fundraisers
and parades. The world’s first operational tank (as well as
aircraft and munitions) were manufactured in Lincoln, and
countrywide there were thirty seven military aerodromes
by 1918. Seven Lincolnshire battalions also took part in the
Battle of the Somme in 1916. Our Lincoln & The Lincolnshire
Coast tour departing on May 30, June 27 & July 25 give you
the opportunity to see this whilst spending a day in Lincoln.
