HOW IT WORKS
Stage 1
First water approaches a 5 micron sediment pre filter. The blue sediment pre filter is designed
to reduce any silt, sand, or dirt that may be in your water. This not only extends the life of your
appliances but also the salt free media inside the tank. The blue filter features a replaceable
filter that is easily changed in under a minute by using the filter wrench included in the
system. We recommend replacing this filter every 3 months for normal use.
Stage 2&3
After the water goes the sediment pre filter, it will now enter the main large tank. This tank
includes granular media also known as Granular Activated carbon (GAC). Carbon has been
recognized by the EPA as the best method to reduce contaminants. Our filters come pre-loaded
with the finest blends of high-grade coconut shell activated carbon. We blend the media based
on your location to suite your specific water needs. We select the most superior carbon on the
market for you and your family. This blend of media will produce purified water free from
major contaminants like chlorine, chloramines, herbicides, pesticides, pharmaceuticals,
industrial solvents.
Stage 4
The EvoClear Salt-Free Water Softener System returns lime to the water as stabilized crystals of
“activated lime”. Once the microscopic crystals of activated lime grow large enough, they are freed
from the Control Media surface by shear forces of water flow. This makes room for generation of
new activated lime crystals. These activated lime crystals become “stabilized”, and will not cause
pipe scaling or stubborn lime deposits on the surfaces. When the water dries on surfaces, these
crystals form a fine, dusty residue that is easily wiped off without using any sort of cleaner.
Stage 5
Next, the media produced “activated” crystals then remove pre-existing scale and prevent
new scale formation. Calcium carbonate in pre-existing scale will slowly redistribute itself
from the low-surface area of the pipe surfaces and plumbing, to the high surface area of
all the crystals in solution. The trillions of microscopic crystals of activated lime provide
an incredibility high total surface area for the further crystallization. The result is the
removal of pre-existing lime scale from plumbing, keeping pipes and appliances lime-free
while
leaving a thin protective surface.

filtration. Im convinced that anyone that does their homework,

I have owned about 5-6 different homes throughout the years. I have had every product from

How long does the media last?
The media which is inside the tank should last far past the warranty date. If it does not, we will honor the warranty
and send you out new media. Once the warranty passes, you may find that it needs to be replaced which can be done
fairly easy. We can send you out replacements when you need them for a small fee.
Is it guaranteed that my hard water will be eliminated?
Yes. We guarantee that our system will eliminate scale in your home. We will make sure that the system performs
throughout the warranty period as expected.
Does the salt-free softener leave a slippery feeling?
Not at all! Our system will not leave a slippery feeling like most salt based softeners would. The slippery feeling is

How often should I change out the prefilters?
With each system, we give you 5 filters which should last you a good few years. Each filter should last up to 3 or 4
months depending on the water. The filters are very easy to change and usually take less than a minute to do.
What is inside the tank?
We use one of the best filtration methods today to get rid of contaminants in water. This filtration method utilizes the
top blends of activated carbon. Carbon has been recognized as the best filtration method by the EPA and we only use

Do you need a RO, Brita filter/ faucet filter or shower filter as well?
