N.Y.E. Festival in Tainan !!
Ever since Tainan upgraded to a
direct-controlled municipality
and welcoming the 100-year ROC,
the very first New Year's Eve
Festival (countdown for 2011) will
be held at the west side of the
square of Tainan City Government
7pm this Friday (12/31).
There will also be free transit and
TRA shuttle bus.
Featuring Cast: Johnathan Chang
(張克帆), Sa Sa (莎莎), Kenji Wu (吳克群),
Amber Kuo (郭采潔), Anthony Neely
(倪安東), Peter Pan (潘裕文), Olivia,

“百年好合” Park Party
at Confucius Temple
Have you ever seen the 100Kg traditional wedding cake? How about
Techno Prince (Nezha) dancing with Open-chan? Do you want to acquire
delicacy and souvenir with only NTD 1? Just visit the “百年好合
(Bai-Nian-Hao-He)” park party on Jan 1 & 2, 2011 (begins at 10:00 a.m.),
in the Confucius Temple Cultural Zone.
The park party is hold by “Tainan culture and tourism industry
association”. Local delicacy producers and performing groups are invited
to make citizens happy on the New Year’s Day of the 100th year of ROC.
Different from the past delicacy exhibitions, this party also combines the
delicacy with the traditional and modern art, such as dragon dance,
Techno Prince (Nezha), popular band and troupe, clown shaped balloon
and living statue.
There will be a simulated bride fetching team acting amusingly to show
the convention of wedding, Chen, the director-general of Tainan culture
and tourism industry association, said.
