Legendary Screed Performance
LeeBoy Legend Screed System
Our popular Legend Screed – standard on the 7000 series – comes with
two (2) propane burners on the main screed and one (1) burner on each
extension. The wear plate is made of 3/8” (9.5 mm) A514 long-wearing,
hardened material that is bolted on for easy replacement.
The hydraulic screed extensions – unique to the LeeBoy Legend
Screed System – are mounted in front of the main screed and are easily
adjustable resulting in a seamless mat at paving widths up to 13’
(3.96 m).
Under Auger Cut-off Gates
LeeBoy under auger cut-off gates provide the operator with precise
control of the head of material at the main screed and hydraulic
extensions. Proper use of LeeBoy cut-off gates minimizes clean up at the
end of pulls.
Unique Hopper/Feeder Design
Wide Conveyors
All 7000B conveyor pavers are equipped with two (2) 36”
(914 mm) wide automatic conveyors – the widest in the
industry. These conveyors deliver asphalt more evenly and
effectively to produce a smooth asphalt mat.
Hydraulically Raised Hopper Bed
The conveyor bed can be lifted hydraulically
allowing the paver undercarriage and tracks
to be easily cleaned and serviced.
Premium Powertrain
Water-cooled Diesel Engine
Provides optimal power, is fuel efficient, and meets current
EPA requirements. The fully enclosed engine housing
provides easy engine access. Resulting sound levels allow
quiet operation in residential areas.
Efficient Drive System
The 7000B features a durable steel track system.
Each track is powered by a single-speed motor
directly coupled to torque hubs. Chain drives and
required adjustments are eliminated.
