120 ECTS, students will be awarded with the Master
degree in Renewable Energy. The courses are
offered at teaching auditoriums of AUT and PUT.
New Professions
Joint Master Program
The Faculty of Agriculture and Environment at the
Agricultural University of Tirana (AUT) and the
Faculty of Mechanical Engineering at the
Polytechnic University of Tirana (PUT) developed
their first joint master program in the field of
Renewable Energy. Students of this program will
gain comprehensive understanding in the fields of
solar, wind, biomass, geothermal and water
energies.
Graduated specialists will be:
able to interpret, describe and solve renewable energy problems and tasks
advanced in the knowledge on renewable
energy technology system usage
theoretically and practically skilled to prepare
advanced energy systems
skilled to assess environmental impacts,
HEC-e, solar energy, biomass usage and
waste treatment for energy purpose,
economy and energy policies and energy
scenarios
further develop theoretical and practical
aspects for renewable energy use

level
impact evaluation of these energy resources
energy policy, economy and market energy and
energy scenarios
Student Mobility and Academic Network:
The joint Master program provides different
opportunities for student mobility in Albanian
academic networks as well as with Western
Balkan and European Partners.
RESI is a joint action of university and private
partners in Albania, Bosnia & Herzegovina and
Montenegro coordinated by the University of
