ORANGE COUNTY HIGH SCHOOL OF THE ARTS
IS COOKING UP SOMETHING NEW
AND WE NEED YOUR HELP!
The Orange County High School of the Arts is excited to officially launch
its Culinary Arts and Hospitality Conservatory in the fall of 2012. This new
conservatory is designed to embrace, nurture and expand a student’s
passion for food, creativity and excellence. Over the summer, we will
renovate the industrial kitchen located on the second floor of the school’s
main tower building in midtown Santa Ana to create the first of three
instructional kitchens for the Culinary Arts and Hospitality Conservatory.
The renovated kitchen will be large enough for up to 40 ninth through
twelfth grade students to participate in culinary training with top chef
instructors. Students will learn cooking fundamentals as well as practical
business applications in a traditional classroom setting.

The missing ingredient: Your help in securing funding and equipment for the kitchen.
The Orange County High School of the Arts is seeking financial support and in-kind
donations for the new conservatory renovation as well as looking to partner with local
restaurants, equipment manufacturers or distributors, and other culinary resources to
equip and enhance the renovated kitchen. We would greatly appreciate the
opportunity to meet with you to discuss our immediate needs and/or any potential
resources, vendors, connections or recommendations that you could provide for new
or gently used equipment.
