INTERIM REPORT”NO CHILD LEFT BEHIND”
REPORTING PERIOD: 01/09/2014-31/12/2015
The activities specified in the application form will be mentioned accurately in
this interim report and described in detail in order to build a comprehensive
image of the project main developments. They are as follows:
1. Project dissemination at its start;
Description: The project team, students and teachers, gathered information
about the project, wrote a newspaper article for a local publication named
”Opinia” and made PowerPoint presentations to display and comment at the
community level and during the region meetings.

2. Erasmus Corner;
Description: pupils gathered materials related to the project and displayed
them at the entrance of the school. The informative board will be updated
whenever necessary. There is also a board representing products, which is to
be completed on a regular basis.

3. Logo contest;
Description: The team organized a contest of drawings, after the pupils had
been presented with the compulsory elements of a logo. A school exhibition
followed and the best representation was chosen to compete in the
international contest.

4. ”Christmas Celebration”;
Description: The pupils created an artistic moment as part of the Christmas
celebration, in front of a large audience composed of teachers and parents.

5. Workshop ”No Child Left Behind”;
Description: Students had the idea of creating something nice on the project
theme during some ICT classes. So, they made a brochure with the title of the
project in which they wrote and illustrated rules of an attractive school.

6. Dissemination of the transnational meeting from Spain;
Description: It took place in school, at the regional level (Magura locality)under
the name of ”Seminarii locale de informare/formare Erasmus+” and within the
school inspectorate.

7. Statistic School Situation regarding early school leaving and absenteeism;
Description: As part of a common task, we made up this report with the help of
our headteacher and secretary. Also, we specified in the report causes and
possible solutions on short and long terms.

8. Teachers create lesson plans connected with the theme;
Description: So far our colleagues designed lesson plans for Counselling and
Orientation classes. Those lesson projects were biased towards the project
theme, containing proper case studies followed by free discussions, concluded
with pieces of advice and possible solutions.

9. WATER DAY;
Description: The students emphasized the importance of the day by watching
educational videos, completing questionnaires, taking part in quizzes and
making a brochure.

10. Dissemination of teaching/learning/training activity from IES Jose
Saramago, Arganda del Rey, Spain;
Description: We prepared this event with the help of the participating students
and teachers. The former related their experiences in front of the students,
teachers, parents and local authorities of our village, basing their exposure on
the films and other products made in Spain. The audience received warmly the
accomplished activities and reiterated their support for the project
development.

11. The Friendship Cup;
Description: Wishing to attract students to school activities and contribute to
their school performances, the teacher members of our team involved the
problem students, among the regular ones into sports activities such as:
football, handball and table tennis championships among schools.

12. European Language Day;
Description: The key word for describing this action is workshop. Our team set
their imagination at work and created all sorts of brochures on the mentioned
theme, the best one being displayed on the Erasmus corner.

13. Dissemination at the national level
Description: ”Together we discover Europe” was the name of a regional
seminar where we presented our project, event which was discussed in detail
in a national publication called ”Opinia Nationala”, issue no.731/December, 8,
2015.

14. Dissemination of teaching/learning/training activity from Istituto
D'istruzione Superiore Patini Liberatore-Castel Di Sangro, Italy.
Description: The project team participating in this mobility shared their
experience and knowledge acquired in front of the local community and during
two seminars called ”Seminarul local de informare/formare Erasmus+”
(November, 13, 2015, Liceul Teoretic Pătîrlagele) and ”Seminarul național de
valorizare a produselor proiectelor LLP, TiA și Erasmus+” (November, 19,
2015, Colegiul Economic Buzău).

15. Let’s go on a trip;
Description: According to our main objectives of the project, the team initiated
a day trip action in which many students were invited. The Geography and
History teachers, among others, played an important role in informing the kids
with regard to the mountain area in terms of relief forms, touristic objectives
and historical aspects of the places.

16. The National Day Celebration;
Description: Also, into the spirit of the project theme, our team organized a
spectacle for the community, in which the Music teacher was deeply involved.
As a surprise, we had as guest, a war veteran, who spoke to the captivated
children about his experiences and offered valuable lessons about how to
cherish what you have, as well as honour and respect.
