Let op!
Pedal Assistance System (PAS), ook bekend als pedelec sensor, is officieel
verplicht in Europa op trapondersteunende fietsen. Wanneer je de
gashendel gebruikt, wordt dit door de wet gezien als een snorfiets
waarvoor een verzekering nodig is.
Attention!
Pedal Assistance System (PAS), also known as pedelec sensor is required
by law in Europe for bicycles with electronic support. When you use a
throttle, it is officially a moped which needs to be insured.

Verwijder uw huidige voorwiel. Indien uw fiets gebruik maakt van een
trommelrem of naafdynamo, dient u deze eerst te ontkoppelen. Het is verstandig
dit wiel te bewaren voor het geval dat u de fiets gemakkelijk wilt transporteren
zonder extra gewicht.
Remove your current front wheel. If your bike uses a drum brake or a hub
dynamo, it’s necessary to disconnect this first. It is wise to keep the current wheel
if you want to transport the bike easily without an increase in weight.

Let op!
Netjes weggewerkte bekabeling voorkomt problemen bij het fietsen of
stallen. Zorg dat de kabel niet knikt of onder spanning staat. Bekabeling die
overal lust kan storingen veroorzaken, als je achter dingen blijft haken.
Attention!
Neatly concealed cabling prevents problems when cycling or parking. Make
sure the cable is not kinked or stretched. Cabling that is too loose can get
stuck behind things and cause malfunctions.

Nacontrole
(1) Wiel is goed aangedraaid en borging bevestigd.
(2) Stuur is vrij te bewegen en kabels komen niet op spanning.
(3) Remmen werken naar behoren.
(4) Sensor is deugdelijk gemonteerd.
(5) Bandenspanning is in orde.
(6) Accu is geladen en goed verpakt of vastgezet.
(7) Alle bekabeling is juist aangesloten aan de controle-unit is goed bevestigd en
weggewerkt.
Checklist
(1) Front wheel is properly secured.
(2) Handle bar is free to move, without any tension on the cables.
(3) Brakes are working correctly.
(4) Sensor is properly installed.
(5) Tire pressure is correct.
(6) Battery is charged and properly secured.
(7) All cables are connected to the controller unit and are properly fastened and
neatly concealed.

Accu opladen
Voordat u gaat fietsen, dient u de accu geheel op te laden. Gebruik
uitsluitend de lader die met de ombouwset wordt meegeleverd. Bij gebruik
van andere laders vervalt iedere garantie en kan bovendien ernstige schade
aan de accu en het elektrisch systeem worden veroorzaakt.
Controleer of de lader geschikt is voor het lokale voltage dat door
uw stroomnet wordt geleverd.
Plaats de stekker in de lader en sluit hem aan op uw accu.
Een rood lampje geeft aan dat de accu wordt geladen.
Een groen lampje geeft aan dat de accu is volgeladen.
De lader schakelt automatisch na het laden uit.
De Lithium Polymeer accu wordt in circa 5,5 uur volledig opgeladen.
Lader- en Accu Bescherming
De accu en lader hebben een ingebouwde hittesensor. Als de hitte te
sterk toeneemt, wordt het systeem automatisch uitgeschakeld zodat
er geen schade kan ontstaan.
Zorg ervoor dat de accu minimaal eens per maand wordt opgeladen.
Anders vervalt de garantie.
Het opladen van de accu zorgt voor een langere levensduur, betere
prestaties en voorkomt beschadigingen van de accu.
Hoe sla ik de accu op ?
Het beste is de accu op kamertemperatuur en op een droge plaats op te
slaan. Laad de accu volledig op voordat je deze opslaat. Wanneer lange tijd
niet in gebruik, de accu eens per maand opladen.

Charging the battery
Before you use your bike it is necessary to charge the battery completely.
Do not use any other charger then the one provided. Usage of other
chargers can cause damage to the battery and the electronic circuit; in
which case the warranty expires.
Make sure the charger provided is suitable for the local voltage.
Connect the charger to the outlet and the battery.
A red light means the battery is being charged.
A green light means the battery is fully charged.
The charger automatically stops the power supply when the battery
is full.
The Lithium Polymer battery takes about 5,5 hours to be fully charged.
Charger and battery protection
Both the charger and the battery have a heat sensor built in. When
it becomes too much the system automatically shuts down to
prevent any damage.
Make sure the battery is charged at least once a month. If not the
warranty expires.
Charging the battery improves the live span, gives better
performance an avoids internal damage to the battery.
How do I store the battery ?
Best to store the battery on room temperature and in a dry place. Charge
fully before storing and charge once a month, when not in use.

Garantievoorwaarden
1 Jaar garantie
Op de losse onderdelen, behalve de onderdelen die onderhevig zijn aan
normale slijtage. Op alle elektrische onderdelen, de controle-unit, de
accu-indicator, de lader en de pedelec-sensor. Bij iedere poging om deze
onderdelen uit elkaar te halen, vervalt de garantie onmiddellijk.
1 Jaar Garantie
Op de accu en de motor.
Uitgesloten van Garantie:
Onderdelen die onderhevig zijn aan normale slijtage, zoals handvatten,
connectors. Wanneer de schade is veroorzaakt door misbruik of
ongevallen.
Kan de motor oververhit raken?
Ja, op zeer steile hellingen kan de motor oververhit raken, maar een
ingebouwde sensor zorgt er dan voor dat het elektrisch systeem
automatisch wordt afgesloten, zodat er geen schade kan optreden.
Garantie vervalt bij:
Wanneer de onderdelen voor andere doeleinden of functies gebruikt
worden dan waarvoor ze zijn vervaardigd. Ook bij het openmaken en/of
veranderen van functies of onderdelen vervalt de garantie. Zo ook bij het
verkeerd monteren en/of laten vallen van onderdelen. Demotech/mafo B.V
en FMHmotor zijn niet aansprakelijk voor het slecht of verkeerd monteren
van de set op de fiets of ander vervoermiddel.

Warranty conditions
1 year warranty
On all parts, excluding parts who are subject to normal wear and tear. On
all electronic parts, including the controller unit, battery indicator, charger
and pedelec sensor. Upon every attend to disassemble any of the parts,
the warranty expires.
1 year warranty
On the battery and engine.
Excluded from warranty:
Parts who are subject to normal wear and tear, such as handles and connectors. Warranty also expires when damaged because of abuse or accidents.
Is it possible to overheat the engine?
Yes, on very steep hills it is possible. However a built in heat sensor will
automatically shut down the system to prevent any damage.
Warranty expires when:
Parts are used for other applications or functions then what they were
meant for. In case of any attempt of disassembling or modifying the parts,
the warranty will expire. Also when parts are wrong assembled and/or
dropped. Demotech/ Mafo B.V. and FMHmotor are not responsible for bad
or wrong assemblance of the set on the bicycle or other mode of
transport.
